fifty two

   First thing Calum and I did when we got back to Florida was get into a fucking cab and drive straight to the hospital. It was like somewhat 7:34 in the morning and I was SO fucking eager to see him.

Luke's POV

"Where's Lily..?" I asked looking around the room. "She went to New York. But she'll be back soon, buddy." Ashton said gripping onto my shoulders crying. My parents have already greeted me, Ashton has, nurses and doctors have, I just need to see Cal and Lily. "How's she been while I was uh..out?" I asked. "She's been really bad. I wouldn't lie to you. We made her stop but she almost got into coke and pot. She still somewhat addicted to cigarettes but Calum promised you he wouldn't let her do anything, and he's been literally watching her and protecting her so fucking good. We almost got into a car accident a few days ago and Calum literally grabbed her and held her so tight in his chest so that she wouldn't get hurt." Ashton said. My stomach dropped..she got into all those things because of me?.. "She didn't get hurt did she?!" I said frantically. "No man..our cars didn't touch. Just swerved." He said. "You don't understand how bad she missed you. How much we all prayed for you to wake up." He said tearing up. "Don't cry man..I'm here now." I smiled.

Lily's POV

"HERE." I said throwing the cab driver a fifty dollar bill without going back to get the change. Calum and I took our luggage out of the trunk and ran into the hospital. We frantically ran in, causing our suitcases to hit multiple walls, until we made it to his room number. We dropped our suitcases on the ground. "Wait." I said grabbing Cal's arm. "If he talks funny..looks, not the same, or anything is wrong..just promise we'll be there no matter what." I sighed. "Of course, Lily." He said heading for the door knob. "Another thing. Thank you for protecting me." I said hugging him. "Of course." He smiled. I went for the door knob and I made eye contact with Luke and started crying. "Oh my God..." He said looking down at his legs crying. I didn't say anything, I dropped my wallet, keys, and ran to him. I leaned over and just hugged him so tight. He hugged me back and kissed me repeatedly. "I thought we fucking lost you." I cried. "I'm here, princess. I didn't go anywhere." He cried. "You guys scared the fuck out of me, I didn't know you guys would come back!" Ashton said smiling. "Right when she heard the news, she started packing." Calum said.

    "I've been crying every day Luke, every day. You died and you came back, and now you're here in my arms..I can't believe this is actually happening. It's been too long. A month and a half is too long." I said in his arms. "They were gonna pull your plug next month and you came through, Luke I'm so fucking happy." I cried kissing his lips repeatedly. "You guys came!! Well, Luke's up and he hasn't gone back to sleep. But he should be resting considering he's still majorly bruised..so if you guys wanna take him home today that's fine. He would have to be wheeled out, though." The doctor smiled. "I DON'T CARE, MY BOYFRIEND WOKE UP."

About fifteen to twenty minutes later, his parents came into the room with a wheel chair and helped him get into it. He was wobbly but he was still my Luke. Just..bruised. His face was all shades of blue and purple still but the swelling went down. Thankfully. I didn't go home that day. Calum and Luke reuinted and Calum broke down in his arms. It was a nice sight. "I want Lily to sit next to me in the car." Luke said. I didn't hesitate, I climbed into his parents car, and sat next to Luke. Ashton didn't come though. Calum came with us to get a ride home. My parents heard the news and were fine with me staying over at Luke's. I held onto Luke's hand and he held onto mine tightly back.

   We finally got to Luke's house and got him settled into bed. His parents gave us some alone time, so it was finally..the way it used to be. "I uh..I missed you.." He said sitting up in his bed. I was sitting at the edge of his bed. "I missed you more then anything.." I teared up. "Can I ask you something though?" He looked down and sighed. "Of course." I said. "Did you..really get into drugs?" He said sighing then looking up at me. "It got really bad for me..yeah I did." I admitted. "Please for me..never do any sort of drugs ever again. Those cigarettes..you need to cut them out." He said. "I have..Calum and I haven't done anything." I said. "Did you go to prom?" He asked. "Nope." I said. "I was planning on asking you." He laughed. "It's alright, it was stupid anyways." I laughed. He got out of bed, and walked over to in front of me. "You're not supposed to be up, Luke..you're supposed to be resting." I said. "I've been resting for nearly two months. Stand up, baby."

   I stood up in front of him. He put his hands on either side of my neck and kissed my forehead. "I love you so fucking much." He said. I looked up at him and smiled. "I love you too." I smiled soothingly. He gently put his hands on my waist and he moved my arms to around his neck. "I'll make up prom for you, babygirl." He said smiling. Although..I couldn't smile. I looked at this boy and I saw how bruised and cut up his face was. It wasn't HORRIBLE but, it made me sad to look at. I brought his shoulders down to bring his face in front of mine. "What's wrong, baby?" He asked. I didn't say a word. I just softly kissed each bruise and cut  he had. I looked at him and he smiled. He softly lied me onto his bed and he sat over me, and traced with his fingers circles along my body. He kissed my lips multiple times. My neck, near my breasts, my stomach, arms, forehead, everywhere. "I missed doing that." He said. "I missed being kissed by you." I sighed. I sat up on the bed in front of him.

       "I missed telling you how much I love you." He said starting to take my shirt off. I laughed and pulled it back down. "I promise..once you're better." I said. "I am better." He pouted, giving me sad eyes. "I don't wanna have sex with you..I just wanna look at you." He said. I giggled and took off my top so that now my bra was showing. He traced his hands down from my neck, down to my breasts, down to my waist. "You are so beautiful." He said kissing my chest. I chuckled and pushed him back softly. "Everything about you is so beautiful. It isn't just sex that pleases me, Lily. It's you in general. I wanna soak up all of you..I love you so much." He said kissing my lips. I smiled and put my shirt back on. "I'll let you soak up more of me when you're completely better." I laughed. "You don't have to if you don't want too. I just wanted to look at you." He said blushing. "I know but I want to." I said laughing. "God I love you.." He smiled.

     And that's what I missed hearing.
