{Eliz's Point of View}

Hades was teleporting us somewhere. I fought, kicking and punching. My fist connected with his jaw, driving it upward, and there was a distinct crack! But he acted like he didn't even feel it. Maybe he didn't, being a god and all.

He chuckled darkly. "Little girl, anything you do won't affect me." I flinched as his face came closer to mine. "But what I do to you will."

{Dew's Point of View}

She was gone. He had taken her away from me once again. That's too many times. I decapitated each skeleton and threw its head in the fireplace, my anger out of control.

"Calm down. We'll get her."

Erin grinned and turned to us. "Hades is just behind this door. He's waiting for Dew. Dew only. He wants a deal."

I growled low in my throat. That little...he wanted a deal exchange for my soulmate! I stormed through the door, growling louder when I saw Eliz.

Her skin was gray, deprived of the sun's rays. Her face was bruised and swollen. I couldn't see her beautiful eyes through the black eyes he had given her. She winced as she moved her head towards me. It hurt her.

"You horrible, miserable, mean old man!" I yelled. His grin grew sadistic and he pulled out a contract.

Oh gods and goddesses, I was going to make a deal with the Devil, I thought.

He put on some fake black circular glasses and leaned close to the paper. I rolled my eyes as he started to read.

"I, Hades the God of the Underworld, have decided to make a deal with Dewdrop Cove Bedford for the soul of his soulmate, Elizabelle Annalina Morgan. In exchange, two men in like, or in love, with said soulmate must battle to the death. Whoever dies, comes to my kingdom forever. No exceptions after this deal."

"Who are the two men?" I felt a clench in my stomach. Who else liked my soulmate?

"Said soulmate will decide how and when the fight will be." He waved a hand over Eliz's body. She was instantly beautiful again, all her scars and bruises gone. He was ignoring me.

"Who is the other man?" His eyes twinkled evilly as he looked out the window.

"Lukas, come in." Lukas, the man Eliz had travelled here with, the man who had saved her, the man who allowed target practice on her, came in, his hands stuffed nervously in his pockets. I glared at him.

"Oh I just love this game!" Hades crackled. "By the way, I invited the gods and goddesses. Make this interesting." He grinned, laughing hard. I clenched my fists in anger, growling low in my throat.

I never wanted to kill a god so much in my life.
