(The day Ife found her mate.)
{Rosa's Point of View}
They had sent me to a mixed prison, both men and women. They had restrained me, took away my powers, broke my bones. But I had to escape. I hadn't finished my job. I was so close. I killed 28 people in the school, one of them Elizabelle Morgan. Oh gods and goddesses, I despised her. She was the bane of my existence; I hated her with a burning passion. But they resurrected her or something. At least that's what my sources tell me.
The punch to the face brought me out of my thoughts. I stared at the woman as she hit me, not bothering to stop her. She yelled in outrage, reaching up to yank my hair. Bad idea. My hair was the only thing about my body I cared about. I grabbed her wrist, snapping it instantly, before leaning towards her.
"Try to touch my hair again, and you'll regret it," I snarled at her, shoving her away. Being in prison gave me a hardened layer, enough that I didn't care about hurting people anymore, innocent or guilty. She fell back on her big behind, glaring at me.
"This isn't over, little Rose!" She hissed, her assistants helping her up.
"Oh, isn't it?" I grinned at her. "Carl, Vincent, finish her." My two recruits, also rogue ninjas, nodded at me and began their work.
Carl pulled out his hidden knife and stabbed the woman in the chest, while Vincent took on two of her assistants. I snapped the other two's necks, snatching their hidden, forbidden objects. Three knives, an iron bar, and a laser pointer. I looked up at Carl, who was still stabbing the obviously dead woman, and rolled my eyes.
"Carl," I stretched out his name, knowing he hated it, "that temper of yours is what got you here. Now let's get moving."
"Hold on," he told us, his face emotionless. Carl bent down towards her body and motioned for Vincent to hold her arm up. I rolled my eyes, knowing what he was going to do.
A few moments later, when he had collected her hands, we started towards the walls. My powers had recently came back, and all of us could launch over the walls. We were just waiting for the perfect moment. Which was right after a murder, or in this case, murders.
Vincent launched himself first, his body narrowly scaling the electric powered walls. Carl took my hand, sending me a grin, and we jumped together. When we landed, Vincent looked back at us and grinned.
"Come on, lovebirds," Vincent teased. Ryan was going to be so relieved. I didn't have to marry him anymore. I had found my true soulmate, Carl, before we had turned 18. Now I had no feelings for him, the first boy to ever hold my heart was nothing to me now. Carl was everything.
Carl rolled his eyes and pulled me along behind Vincent. I turned my head slightly, looking back at the prison. The flashing lights weren't on yet, no one noticed our absence. I turned back and rushed forward.
"Goodbye, Hell," I whispered under my breath. Carl smirked at me. "Faster, guys! Faster!" I yelled. Vincent rolled his eyes and started to sprint. We had to get back to the ninja school.

{Vincent's Point of View}
It had been a few minutes of running, when a blur of a girl ran past us, in the opposite direction of the ninja school. Rosa glared at me, knowing what I was going to do.
"She's my soulmate," I whispered, hoping they would understand, before taking off behind the girl. She ran faster, as if she knew I was behind her. She cut through trees, until I lost her. I stood in the middle of the forest, looking around. I focused on noises.
A soft, faint thud echoed from a few yards away. I followed the sound, to find my soulmate collapsed on the ground, beside a tree. She was facing away from me, but somehow I knew she closed her eyes. I heard a melodic voice whisper something I couldn't determine. It was her; she sounded like music to my ears, no matter how cliche that was.
I hurried over to her, making quite a bit of noise. She moved slightly as I dropped to my knees beside her. I grasped the sides of her face with my hands gently, turning it toward me. She opened her eyes, looking at me.
"Hang on, beautiful," I whispered, noticing her eyes linger on my lips. I smirked at her, trying not to let her see how much she effected me. She moved her head slightly and closed her eyes. I felt panic and alarm, as I shook her as gently as I could.
"Baby, please. Look at me. Stay awake. I can't lose you. I just found you," I whispered desperately, running my hands through her hair. It was so soft, even if it was cut unevenly and screwed-up. She ignored me, tightening her closed eyes. I panicked slightly, pressing my lips to hers. She didn't respond to it, but I felt her mind come to life in mine.
"Oh my gods and goddesses, he's a good kisser. Don't do it, Ife. Don't kiss him back," she was yelling at herself, in her mind. I smirked involuntarily, knowing I effected her too. And her name was Ife. Such a beautiful, unique name. I pulled away quickly, before I would be temped to kiss her harder until she kissed me back.
"Please darling! I can't lose my soulmate!" I yelled, losing it. I felt Rosa and Carl's eyes on my back, as I stared at my soulmate with agony in my eyes.
"Goodbye world," she thought as she went limp and oblivious to the world. I snatched her limp body up in my arms. She was still breathing, but I knew that would change if I didn't help her.
I turned to Rosa. "We're post-poning the revenge." She nodded at my dominant voice, backing down from her spot as leader. "First we have to save my mate."
