Birthday star

Sarah POV

"Do you really have to go?" Tae asked me, as he hugged me from behind. "Tae it's Amelia's birthday, you know i should" I said, turning to him, placing my hands around his neck as he started swaying us. "I know, I know. I also don't want you to stay home. It's just" He said, and I interrupted him, knowing exactly what was going on behind his beautiful eyes. "I know baby bear, but you really don't have to worry" I said, kissing his cheek. "I can't believe she didn't invite me, I am her boyfriend," Tae said, pulling one of his fake cries as he threw himself into the bed. I laughed, placing myself on top of him. "How about you take me there and pick me up again?" I asked, looking down at him. "Would that ease your mind?" I asked again, with no answer from before. He nodded. "Good," I said, as I stood up, "But you really don't have to be so insecure Tae." "No need for that" I said, asking for his hand. "Let's go". I had been at the dorm for a couple of days, enjoying some vacation from work, and i spend a lot of time with Tae.

I said my goodbyes to the rest of the boys, as we walked to the car. The drive was quiet and the way Tae was biting his lips I knew he was anxious but as always he held back for my sake. My heart sank as I suddenly felt like I was selfish in the company of this man. "Are you okay?" I asked, placing a hand on his lap. "You know," He gulped. "Loving you has altered my entire outlook on life. Made it better. More precious" He said with his eyes on the road as I searched for his eyes to meet mine. "I have made a lot of sacrifices and compromises for my brothers when it came to you" "Always made sure when they sneaked you in, i was the one leaving the door unlocked so it wouldn't make lots of noises and i took care of their phones while they were away" "I wish some of them would have thought about doing the same for me, but when it came to you all of them were selfish, and i couldn't be" He said, and a tear escaped from my eye by the new information. Tae reached for his face, placing a finger at the corner of his eyes and I knew he was trying to stop tears from falling so I reached for his hand, pulling it softly away and the tear fell down his cheek. "I wish you would have been selfish" "I know you can't because that's not who you are, but if you had things might have ended up a little different" I said, squeezing his hand. "We are here" He said, and I hadn't realized that we had been driving for that long but as we pulled up it was in fact Mrs and Mr Min's house. The car stopped and we looked at each other. I wish I could leave with him, or take him with me but right now we have to do this without each other. "I know this is hard for you Tae, but you really don't have to worry. I can't avoid Yoongi forever and he won't hurt me anymore" I said, trying to sound believable even though i wasn't so sure anymore. He gave me a soft, clearly forced smile without saying much. "Text me and I will answer okay?" I said, leaning in to kiss his forehead. "Okay" He answered, his voice breaking a little, that he tried to cover with a cough. I was about to leave the car as he grabbed my neck and pulled me into a deep kiss, feeling all butterflies in my stomach once again. "I love you" He said, and i told him i loved him as well as i left the car.

I rang the door, waiting for someone to open the door and behind the door I could see Yoongi's shadow walking to the door. "Thank you for coming, Amelia is going to be so happy" Yoongi said, letting me come in as I placed my shoes by the door. "Wouldn't miss it for the world" I said, offering Yoongi a smile and he gave one back. "MISS SARAH" Amelia shouted as she jumped into my arms. I stood up, spinning her around in my arms as we both laughed. I placed her down, and kneeled in front of her. "This is for you sweety," I said, giving her my gift. She started unwrapping the present eagerly and as she saw what I got her, her eyes widened. "Miss Sarah, what is that?" She said, looking at me with such adorable eyes. "I got you a star. You see, that one right there" I said, pointing at the picture of the constellation of stars. "That is your star, it's name is Amelia" I said, and continued. "I think you are the brightest star in the universe" I said, removing some loose hair that had escaped from her ponytail. She hugged me, pulling away some of my hair, exposing my ear. "Boongi always says that you are his star" She whispered in my ear. I pulled away and smiled at her. He always said that to me as well.

The party went well. I talked to a lot of new people, Played a lot with Amelia. We ate dinner and after that there was dessert and music for people to dance. I looked around and smiled to myself, this was really a beautiful birthday for Amelia and i couldn't wish for any other parents for her then Mrs and Mr Min. I get shaken out of my thought's by Amelia pulling my dress. I look at her, hand in hand with Yoongi who looks tired. "As we practiced Boongi" "Now" Amelia said, pointing at him with a determinate pout. "Sarah, will you please dance with me?" Yoongi asked, reaching out for my hand, and I gasped a little by the thought and already felt like saying no but as I saw Amelia's excitement, clapping her hands I took his hand and he led me to the dancefloor. "I hope you didn't feel forced," Yoongi said, searching my eyes for a sign of regret as he placed his hands softly on my hips. I placed my hands around his neck. "No it's fine Yoongi" I said, smiling at him. "I have been sober since that night" "I am so, so sorry for all the hurt i caused. Both for you and my brothers. But I am really working on it, "he said, and I nodded. He looked better. More fresh, and smelled really nice. "I'm glad you're doing better Yoongi" I said, not sure what to say to the apology. "I know i might have fucked it all up, but please let me show you that i am better, and when you see that i am, i hope you will consider letting me be a part of you again. Because that is the only thing I was made for" He said, lightly nuzzling my cheek. I smile, and pull away as the song finishes. "Thank you for the dance Yoongi" I said, as I walked to my seat to text Tae that i was ready to go home.
