Selfish

Tae POV

"It's 7 in the morning, why the hell are we screaming at each other?" I ask, entering the living room seeing Namjoon and Yoongi standing on each side of the table. "Mind yourself Taehyung," Namjoon said irritatedly. "Hey, that's no way of speaking Namjoon. Now answer the question you two" Jin said behind me. "Namjoon thinks it's time to enter Sarah's life and play father to her kid now" Yoongi said with an expression filled with anger. "And Yoongi Hyung thinks he has any saying in that '' Namjoon continued as they both looked at each other staring daggers. "Namjoon let it go, you chose not to be a part of it and she is obviously doing fine on her own" Hobi said as he joined in. "You guys are selfish," Namjoon said, slamming his fist into the table. "No Namjoon, the only selfish one here right now is you," Jin answered. Namjoon took his shoes and left the dorm, and the rest went back to sleep as I stood still watching Yoongi sitting down, shaking his hands as he took a sip of his coffee. "Yoongi?" I asked carefully. "What's up Taehyungie?" He asked with a miserable expression as he looked up at me, making me tear up a little, reminding me of times we had long talks of being the two who loved her but were never loved enough in return. I always knew Yoongi loved her the most out of all of us, so I always rooted for his and Sarah's happy ending. Torn between telling him that i have Sarah's number and giving it to him so he could talk to her, and keeping my promise to Sarah i walk to the table, sitting down in front of him. "I know you will always protect her with everything in you" I say as I look at Yoongi. "I really appreciate that. She needs your protection" I say smiling at him. "How do you know Tae?" Yoongi asks with narrowing his eyes. "Because she always needed you and your protection" I answered, not ready to tell Yoongi the full truth yet. "I knew when I met her for the first time years ago that my life would never be the same again," Yoongi said, staring into nothing. "But I really didn't mind, I never minded. It was truly amazing." He said, meeting my eyes. "I was lost back then Taehyungie" "And i just knew where i belong when i met her" He continued and took another sip of his coffee as he laughed a little by himself. "That's beautiful Hyung. I know you would do anything for her" i said placing a hand on his shoulder, he looks at me with his tight smile nodding as i leave for my room heavy hearted. I sit back looking at my phone thinking for a minute before pulling out Sarah's contact info. I smiled a little by the nickname she had called herself. "She actually wrote Ma cherie" I said to myself laughing a little

"Bonjour Ma Cherie" I said, taking her hand as she arrived at the restaurant I was waiting by for our first date. "Baby bear, that is just cringe" "Ma Cherie" Sarah said laughing. "Love it" She continued as she kissed my cheek.

I decided to send Sarah a text, asking if she was free for lunch today, but as she answered she only had half an hour, I decided to just pick up some food and go to her office to eat with her. "Can't wait to see you Baby bear" Sarah texted and a rush came over me. it does every time she calls me that. No one has ever called me that, and if I met anyone wanting to, I corrected them.

As I arrived at the children's home I went directly to her office, knocking at the door, receiving a "Come on in" I immediately smiled. "That looks delicious Tae, i am so hungry" She said rubbing her belly making me happy to see she hasn't lost that habit of hers. "That's good, cause i bought a lot of food" I said laughing a little as i place the bags on the table. We eat and talk a little but i need some answers, so i just start asking away hoping i won't scare her. "Sweetheart" i say placing my chopsticks down looking at her. "How is your kid?" I ask, hoping to hear a lot about this kid, i love kids. Sarah took a deep breath as she put her chopsticks down as well. "I was so stressed out and heartbroken" She said and I could see her tears fall down to her plate. I placed my hand on hers hoping to comfort her. "I lost it" She said out in one breath, and by the sentence tears started streaming down my face. "I am so sorry sweetheart" I said, trying to hold back a little but wasn't able to control the feelings i felt right now. "Thank you baby bear" "for always being there" She said and i couldn't hide my disgust "I haven't always been there sweetheart. I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most" I said sitting a little back into my chair. "No, because I chose for you not to be. if you could have you would have" She said, and i could feel her eyes on me but i couldn't get myself to look at her. I just nodded, and we got interrupted by a knock on the door. "Amelia, come say hi to my friend Taehyung. We are just eating" Sarah says as she comes around meeting me with a little girl, with long blond hair and beautiful blue eyes smiling bright with the teeths she has left in her mouth. "Hi Amelia" I say, taking her hand, shaking it. "Miss Sarah, is this your boyfriend then?" Amelia asks as she looks from me to Sarah. Sarah shakes her head "No it's not Amelia" She said laughing a little. "Then i am taking this one Miss Sarah" She said, clapping her hands as she climbed up my legs, sitting in my lab smiling at me. "I understand that Amelia, he is perfect" Sarah said, making my eyes shine in a pure way, hearing that from her made me feel butterflies. "Where is Boongi, Miss Sarah?" Amelia asked, looking at Sarah. We both laughed a little by her sweet pronunciation. "I don't know sweety, I think Yoongi is at work" Sarah said, placing a hand on Amelia's cheek. "But you should be with Boongi all the time, Miss Sarah, so you would look happy all the time," She said. "isn't that right?" She continued as she looked up to me, and I took the situation to ask my real question. "Actually, Amelia is right. So I was wondering if I could maybe give Boongi your number?" I ask with my tata face, "SAY YES MISS SARAH" Amelia screamed. "Okay, okay" Sarah said as she took Amelia from my lab and walked her to the door. "Taehyung can give Yoongi my number. Now go play" She said as she put Amelia down. "Bye" She waved at me as I waved back. "That was dirty playing Taehyung" She said looking at me. "I am a dirty boy you know" I said wiggling my brows making both of us laugh.
