Private L/N
The hot sun burned my face as I stood on the shooting range. I wasn't expecting to be called to demonstrate my combat skills to General Shepard but here we are.
"Private L/N!" My commanding officer yelled to me from his watch point.
"Yes sir?!" I quickly snapped to attention.
"Show them what you got!" He yelled down to me.
I nodded and began the course, at the end I was drowning in sweat, sand sticking to my gear and uniform. I looked up to the watch point to see my commander and General in a heated discussion.
"Private L/N!"
I snapped to attention once more. "Yes Sir?!"
"Report to the Watch point!"
"Moving!" I quickly jogged the watch point. "Private L/N, reporting commander." I stood at attention in front of the two men.
"Private, this is General Shepherd. You will be under his command now."
"At ease, We have much to do Private. Let's get a move on." General Shepherd smiled and with that I was relocated to a different base.
