Part 26- let's roll

The world was quiet, it seemed to have stop for me and Soap after Simon's death. We stuck to each other like glue, scared the other would disappear.

"It looks like the entrances are here and here." Price was going over a mission to get some Intel on Shepherd.

We had all vowed to take that bastard out, for Roach and for Simon.

"I have some backup coming to help. You may remember Alejandro." Price nodded to the door as two men walked in.

"Ey! Look who it is!" His cheerfulness made to room uncomfortable.

Happiness seemed like a foreign term now that Simon was gone.

Soap's arms wrapped around my waist, his uncomfortablness clear. "Why is he so loud?"

I rubbed Soap's arms and shrugged. "I think he's always been like that."

"I'm so sorry about Ghost." His name caused both me and Johnny to tense up. "He was a great man."

I felt tears well up. No, enough crying! I wiped away the tears quickly.

I don't have time to cry, we're about to commit some major war crimes.

Johnny held me tighter, himself fighting off sadness.

"Once we have this information we'll be able to start going after Shepherd and anyone who played a part in Ghost and Roach's death." Price sighed heavily. "I can't promise there won't be casualties."

We all nodded. At this point we all stopped carrying if we love or die. Our world's have turned upside down and there was no going back. Those we could trust turned Into our enemies.

"Then let's suit up and roll out."

With that we set out on a possible suicide mission.
