Eventually we arrived to command base. This mission was far from over.
"I'm so glad you're okay." Soap pulled me into a tight hug.
I gladly hugged him back. "I'm glad you all are alive as well."
Ghost walked past us, shoving Soap with his shoulder. Soap shot him a glare.
"He still pissy?"
"Yeah." I didn't care anymore. I said what I needed too, he let it drop.
"You're still upset with him huh?."
"No, I don't care anymore." I could no longer justify holding on to him.
Soap looked at me and gently cupped my face with his hands. "He doesn't deserve you anyways."
I smiled a little. "Thanks, Johnny."
"Of course." He planted a kiss on my forehead, I could feel eyes burning into my back. I didn't even bother to look to see who it was.
Captain Price called us to a meeting with General Shepherd.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we're adding another member to your ranks. Everyone this is Agent Becker. She will be joining you all for a while." General Shepherd introduced a young woman around my age. She had auburn hair and blue eyes.
"Hello, everyone." She smiled and for some reason I felt uneasy.
"Welcome to the team." Ghost stood and shook her hand. My stomach dropped, he didn't even care when I joined.
Fuck this bitch already.
