"HELP HIM!" I screamed. He was losing more and more blood every minute, and I couldn't stand seeing him like this. He was breathing heavily, and his eyes would flutter open sometimes.

When Nate and I brought him in, there came a guy running to us.

"Hand him over to me, I'll take it from here," he said, while he immediately called other people to help. I wanted to go after Charlie and be with him, but Nathaniel stopped me.

"Don't. They need to concentrate, no distractions. He will make it, he is a brave man." I knew his words meant something to me, but I didn't know about that.

Charlie was a trouble maker, there was no doubt in that. He would always get in fights, and came out with a lot of bruises and blood. I was always the one to help him, just like he is helping me.

An unknown guy suddenly walked up to me and held his hand out.

"I am Max, nice to meet you. I saw your friend being brought in, and he didn't look good." His face was sad, but I couldn't help and feel angry at him.

"You think that will help me relax or something? Are you stupid?" I snapped at him. His eyes went wide, but soon, there was a smirk plastered on his face.

"Nate, this girl is the one man. She is feisty, I like her." How the hell did he knew Nate?

Max saw my confusion and grinned. "Yeah, we are gang buddies. I could guess you are the new one, Samantha right?" I nodded in confirmation.

"Well, Samantha, it is a pleasure to meet you." I wanted to smack his damn smirk from his face.

"It's not nice to meet you too." I said, without looking him in the eye. He was a good looking guy, there was no denying that, but his attitude ruined the whole thing. I hate this sort of guys, but I should've know the gang was full of them.

"I have a question." I suddenly said.

"Shoot Greeny." Max teased. I shot him a nasty look and turned to Nate.

"How many of you are members of the gang? I mean, you just walk around the town like it's nothing, while in reality, you are some sort of criminals." I lowly said. Not everyone had to hear what I said.

Nate looked at me, I don't know why, but his gaze made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't know this guy, but I owed him, since he saved Charlie's life.

Well, if he survives this operation.

"There are over one hundred people here. We all have other priorities, mine is to be the hacker, and Max here, is the sniper. He is the one who can kill with every weapon. He never missed one target in his whole career here." I looked at Max with wide eyes, and his smirk was back.

"You better now mess with me sweetheart, I can be deadly. I can kill you in four different ways right now." He said, while he took a step closer. This man scared me to death and I know for sure it was written all over my face.

Max just laughed at me and took another step closer. When he was right in front of me, he busted out laughing.

"You're face! I-it's priceless!" he laughed in my face, and Nate joined him. Together, they just laughed at me, and suddenly, I felt like a little school girl again.

"What is there so funny?" I scowled.

"We were just joking. He isn't that bad, he is actually a nice guy, although he can be a dick." Nate told me. I felt heat rising my cheeks, and looked away, ashamed of myself.

"You are definitely not the type to be in a gang, so why are you doing it?" Max asked, his eyes curious.

It would be great just to tell them, but I barely know them, so I don't trust them enough to tell them my secret.

"That is my business, now, isn't it?" I said. Max looked at me for a while, trying to understand something.

"What happened to make you this bitter? You don't look like a bad girl, but your big mouth says it all. You're like mouse with the mouth of a lion." Max grinned.

"It's none of your business, so stay out of it. I am just here because I wanted to, there is no other reason. So, if you'll excuse me" I spat out.

"I'd like to check on my friend. Goodbye." With that said, I walked away. I heard them whisper to each other, but I decided I didn't care.

The only thing I cared about was Charlie right now.

He couldn't die, I can't live without him.

I need him, just like he needs me.

I checked if there was any information from Charlie, but there wasn't. My concern grew, and I walked back to Nate and Max.

They didn't see me coming but I heard them say, "There is something up with them, and I am going to find out what."

I fake coughed, and they turned around. Nate walked up to me, and pulled me by his side.

"So, tell Max and I something about yourself." The glint in his eyes didn't look good or nice.

It looked evil.

"What do you want to know?" I asked. It's not that I have big secrets, except for being undercover here.

"Everything." He breathed, and Max smirked. Seriously, I am going to beat the living shit out of him if he keeps doing that. His pretty face wouldn't be that pretty anymore.

Before I could even start my story, my name was called.

"Miss. Sherrington?" a doctor called. I looked at the boys, and excused myself.

"Yes, that would be me." I smiled a little when I said that. The doctor had an unreadable expression on his face, so I didn't know what to think.

"The operation was..."
