Shit. Why was Jamie so stupid to leave the video on the screen? I searched for words and looked helplessly at Jamie. He looked back at me with the same horrified and clueless expression. I sighed and looked at Charlie, who was still looking at the screen. His face became red of anger and when he turned to me, his eyes practically shot fire.

"What is the meaning of this?" His question was directed to me and I saw hurt creeping up in his eyes. My heart broke at the sight of him, standing there so alone and helpless. I took a step forward and took his hand in mine.

"Charlie, I think it's for the best you don't ask too many questions. Did I ever question you and what you are doing with your dad's gang?" My voice was soft, but with a hard edge. When he heard what I said, his eyes softened and he shook his head.

"Then don't question this please, it's nothing to worry about." Charlie nodded his head and squeezed my hand. I smiled up at him and he looked at Jamie.

"Whatever you do, don't go too far. Things won't get easier. The more you know, the more dangerous it becomes. Be careful Jamie, people will hunt you down." The sharpness and reality in his voice made me shiver. He knows people are after us, so he is protecting us.

Jamie nodded his head and slowly walked to his computer to delete the video. A small smile made its way on Charlie's face, as if he accomplished something big. He turned his attention back to be and dragged me out of the room.

"Nate called." He started. "Mark wants us there in an hour, so we need to make ourselves ready and go." I nodded and turned around to walk away, but he pulled me back. I looked up into his shining brown eyes and he looked at me with a lot intensity.

"Do you trust me Chloe?" The question didn't came out of nowhere. He knew something was up with us, he only didn't know what. But I didn't doubt him, not one second did I fully believe he was the killer, so I nodded again.

"Yes I do." The smile on his face was worth the words I said. I just gave him my hundred percent trust in him, so I needed to live to it. No secrets or things behind his back anymore. He pulled me in his chest, lifted my chin and kissed me on my lips.

I could never get enough of his kisses.

They were soft, but with a rough edge on it. His lips felt like the sweetest sweet on your lips, some taste you don't want to lose. I heard a cough and broke the kiss to turn around. My mom stood there, hands crossed and a big smile on her face.

"Finally!" She exclaimed. "It took you two long enough to get together." She clapped her hands like a little kid and Charlie and I busted out laughing. My mom was really crazy, but I knew she shipped us for a long time. She finally got her wish.

"But, back to business, I am sorry I am not often home Chloe and Jamie." I heard my brother walking down the stairs. He stood next to me with his eyes fixated on our mom.

"I made the decision to work less and try to be a real mother for you two. I know it's hard since you dad died." She choked out. I knew it was hard for her to talk about. "But I want to be there for my children in these hard times, to help them. I love you guys and I am sorry I didn't said that enough." Tears boiled up in my eyes and I ran to my mom to attack her in a hug. She smiled and hugged me tight when Jamie joined us. We really had a family bonding here.

Charlie stood there awkwardly, but my mom opened her arms and said, "You're a part of the family too Charlie." He laughed and joined our hug.

In this moment, everything was perfect, but I knew it wouldn't last long.

Happiness never lasts long.

Charlie and I walked into Criminal Minds like bosses. With our hands in our pockets and our sunglasses on our eyes. I thought we looked cool, but that faded when I heard some voice speak.

"You two look like idiots." Of course it was Max. He was the only one to be such a dick sometimes. I turned my head to him and flipped my hair.

"Don't you think I am freaking famous?" A smile made its way on his face and he took a step closer. His breath tickled my ear as he spoke.

"I like you better as a blonde." A blush crept up my cheeks and Charlie noticed this. He put an arm around my waist possessively and narrowed his eyes.

"Back off of my girlfriend." Max eyes went wide and he looked between me and Charlie.

"So, you finally escaped that friend zone?" he asked incredulously.

Charlie nodded his head proudly and Max pulled him in a man hug.
"I am so proud of you! Not many people escape at that doomed zone, so you are a lucky guy." Charlie just laughed and Max started to walk away.

"Follow me bro, we need to celebrate this." He turned to me and smiled. "No girls allowed." A smirk came onto his face and I just rolled my eyes. Charlie blew a kiss to me and turned around to follow Max.

And then I was alone.

I looked around a bit, trying to find someone to talk to. I came past the training room from a while ago and smirked. I needed to train again.
I got ready to fight and began to punch a punching bag. I needed to release all my stress, so I punched harder and harder. My knuckles began to hurt, but I didn't stop.

I am a fighter.

"I see you're back. I started to miss working with you." Grey said. I turned around and faced him. He smiled and walked closer to me.

"Did you think about my instructions?"

"Yeah, I didn't forget about them." He smirked and threw away his bag.

"Well, what do you say? Ready for a fight?" I smirked back at him and put my hair in a bun.

"Damn right I'm ready."

This time, I was the first one to attack. I threw a punch his way, but he dodged it. His slid his foot over the ground, but I saw it coming and jumper over it. At that same moment, I threw a punch and hit him at the back of his head.

"Not bad, really not bad." He lunged at me and I dodged him again. He tried to kick me but I grabbed his foot.

I guess that was a mistake.

He jumped up and kicked me with his other leg. I fell on the ground and covered my head. Damn, this boy can fight.

"Lesson number three, don't give up Sam." He was mocking me and I knew it.

I slowly stood up and faced him again.
"I wasn't planning to." We fought again for half an hour before we both were beaten and bruised. I had some scratches on my face and a big blue mark on my stomach where Grey had a bruise on his cheek and a swollen nose. I admired what I did to his face and smirked.

"Not so pretty anymore, aren't you?" His eyes shot daggers at me and he took a step closer.

"If you want to go on, I am not tired yet." I knew he was lying because he was panting like crazy. I smirked and shook my head.

"Nah, I'm good. Hey, can you get me a fan or something, it freaking hot in here." He nodded his head and walked away. A couple of minutes later he returned with two ice bags and a fan. He handed me one bag and smiled.

"For the bruise on your stomach." I nodded thankfully and he installed the fan.

"Here you go" Grey said and turned on the fan. He smiled a bit and walked away. "See you next time Fighter!"
Fighter. It made me feel good. My hair was wet from all the sweat and water I threw over it, so I stood right in front of the fan and sighed happily.

The wind began to blow in my face and I enjoyed it until something terrible happened.

Something that changed it all.

Things are about to go down. Be prepared.....
