4.8 -The Fall Of Arcadia (Part Three)

Romana: PREVIOUSLY ON DOCTOR WHO
Caan: Master Davros.
Davros: It cannot be! Dalek Caan!
Caan: I am here to save you from destruction my lord!
The Doctor: I've got a chance.
Romana: For what?
The Doctor: I could destroy the Daleks here & now.
Rassilon: How do you know?
The Doctor: From memory, the panopticon siege led to the fall of Arcadia.
Joura: The fall.
The Doctor: At the gates of Arcadia, The Daleks were destroyed by Davros' greatest weapon: The nightmare child.
Leela: Help me! Please!
The Doctor grabs The Dalek mutant & throws it away.
-Doctor!
Leela hugs The Doctor.
Romana: We're near the end of the sewer! Come on!
They all run.
Dalek 2: Exterminate!
Rassilon is exterminated.
Romana: Rassilon!
The Doctor: He'll regenerate.
Romana: That was his final incarnation.
The Doctor, Leela, Romana & Aura come to a halt, they look up to see the nightmare child.
Leela: What is that?
The Doctor: The nightmare child.
Davros laughs maniacally.
Davros: You don't have a chance now Doctor! The Daleks shall be the supreme victors of the great time war on the last day!
Aura: We may as well give up.
The Doctor: No, we don't go without a fight.
The nightmare child roars, The Doctor, Aura, Romana & Leela look on as Davros is surrounded by Daleks, The supreme Dalek, Dalek Caan & The Black Dalek with the nightmare child behind him.
Davros: The war has only just begun Doctor!
Now:
At the gates of Arcadia:
The Doctor, Leela, Romana & Aura come to a halt, they look up to see the nightmare child.
Leela: What is that?
The Doctor: The nightmare child.
Davros laughs maniacally.
Davros: You don't have a chance now Doctor! The Daleks shall be the supreme victors of the great time war on the last day!
Romana: We're done for.
Aura: We may as well give up.
The Doctor: No, we don't go without a fight.
The nightmare child roars, The Doctor, Aura, Romana & Leela look on as Davros is surrounded by Daleks, The supreme Dalek, Dalek Caan & The Black Dalek with the nightmare child behind him.
At the battlefield:
The Doctor clicks her fingers, An army of Sontarans & Cybermen appear.
Leela: Cybermen!
Romana: Sontarans!
The Doctor: Fight!
Cyberman 1: Delete!
The Doctor: The final battle.
Romana: What?
The Doctor: When Davros & his army appear to the nightmare child, The Cybermen, The Sontarans & The Zygons will appear in an alliance with The Timelords.
The Zygons appear.
Zygon 1: This is war!
The Cybermen, The Sontarans & The Zygons fire at The Daleks who fire back, Leela, Romana, Aura & The Doctor are caught in the crossfire.
Romana: Run!
The Doctor & her companions run.
In a destroyed building:
The Doctor: A staircase.
Leela: What?
The Doctor: This staircase leads to an open roof, we can defeat The Daleks.
Leela: With what?
The Doctor: Romana have you got your sonic screwdriver?
Romana: Yeah, of course.
Romana gives it to The Doctor.
Aura: What do you intend to do?
The Doctor: I'm going to blow up Gallifrey.
Romana, Leela & Aura look at The Doctor in horror.

Leela: What?!
Romana: Doctor, I will not let you do this.
The Doctor: It pays of in the end.
Leela: How? This is low Doctor! This is low even for you.
The Doctor: Gallifrey was destroyed, but it was saved in a pocket universe.
Leela: Pocket universe?
Romana: A universe sealed off from the rest, in order to protect endangered planets or in this case-
Leela: Planets that are trying to survive the time war.
Aura: Gallifrey was never destroyed.
The Doctor: We know.
Aura: Doctor?
The Doctor: Yes?
Aura: Ever wandered my name means?
The Doctor: Not really no.
Aura: I share the name of the-
The Doctor: Aura beacon.
Aura: I control the beacon that beams down from the skies of Gallifrey & right down through to the cloisters. I can use it to destroy the nightmare child, however I'll have to go down into the cloisters.
Leela: You can't go on your own, it's not safe.
The Doctor: Right, Leela & Aura go to the cloisters & launch the Aura beacon.
Aura: Right.
Leela & Aura smile at The Doctor & Romana.
Both: See you on the other side.
The Doctor & Romana: You too.
Leela & Aura run.
On the battlefield:
A bomb detonates, Aura falls.
Leela: Come on!
Aura gets up & they run.
Sontaran 2: You will be pounded!
Black Dalek: Exterminate!
The black Dalek fires at the Sontaran, however The Sontaran dodges & it hits Leela, she screams.
Aura: Leela!
Aura runs over to Leela.
Leela: Go, I will keep your back!
Leela gets up.
Aura: Don't struggle!
Leela: Go!
Aura runs, Leela picks up a discarded blaster from a dead Sontaran, she fires with The Cybermen, Sontarans & Zygons.
-I can take you!
A Dalek fires at her, she flinches.
-You see that?! That's strength!
Cyberman 2: Delete!
Zygon 2: You'll be eliminated!
A Dalek fires at Leela, she flinches again, she picks up the strength & runs across the battlefield firing up at The Daleks, she screams as she runs across.
-You won't take me!
A group of Daleks advance on her, she fires at them.
Dalek 2: Exterminate!
The Daleks exterminate her as she falls to the ground letting out an agonising scream.
In the panopticon:
Aura marches down the corridors, she hears Leela's cries, she gasps.
Aura: Leela.
In the building:
A Dalek mutant appears.
Romana: Doctor.
The Doctor: The city is smothered in them.
The Doctor kicks it off, it squeals as it hits the wall.
Dalek mutant: We. Know. Of. Your. Plans. Doctor.
The Doctor & Romana turn around to see multiple green one-eyed slimy creatures on the wall.
Romana: The city really is infested with mutants.
The mutants slither of of the walls & begin to approach The Doctor & Romana.
Romana runs up the stairs, she looks over the banister.
Romana: Doctor come on!
The Doctor runs up the stairs.
-What do we do?
The Doctor: Cover your ears.
The Doctor & Romana cover their ears as the Doctor creates a sound frequency using the sonic screwdriver, making all of the mutants pass out.
Romana: What now?
The Doctor: We get out of here.
The Doctor & Romana walk towards the hole in the wall.
Romana: Oh no.
The Dalek Time Strategist is stood in front of them.
Time Strategist: Doctor.
In the skies:
The nightmare child roars.
Davros: What is he saying?
Caan: The Dalek Time Strategist has arrived!
Black Dalek: Come strategist!
The Dalek time strategist elevates up to The Daleks in the sky.
All: We are the supreme beings!
The nightmare child roars as it pulls a force of The Cybermen, The Sontarans & The Zygons towards it, Davros laughs maniacally.
Davros: We have all power over Gallifrey.
The Doctor & Romana are stood at the balcony of the destroyed building.
-Gallifrey is ours!
The nightmare child roars, Davros & his Dalek army are being hurled towards it.
-What is this?!
Romana: The nightmare child is like a dog at a barbecue it'll eat anything & everything in it's path.
Davros screams.
In the cloisters:
Aura reaches the beam.
Man: The time has come my child.
Aura: Father.
Man: You haven't called me that in a while my child, how about Omega? Isn't that more formal?
Aura: I'd prefer father.
Omega: Of course my child.
Aura walks to the beam.
Omega: Your seriously not going to activate it are you?
Aura: The whole of Gallifrey depends on it.
Omega: This is stupidness my child.
Aura: My planet is at stake.
Omega: If you touch that beam, you'll die.
Aura: It's for my planet. It will save Gallifrey from imminent destruction.
Omega: I will not let you do this.
Aura pushes Omega away, he runs at her, she dodges & he runs into the Aura beacon.
In the tower:
Romana: Oh no.
The sky turne black.
The Doctor: She's failed.
Davros: Doctor! Save us!
In the cloisters:
Aura tries to pull Omega out of the beam, however she is sucked in, turning the beam an orange green colour.
In the tower:
The beam slowly shoots up.
The Doctor: Oh no.
Romana: What?
The Doctor: Something's gone wrong.
Romana: Doctor?! What is it?!
The Doctor: Aura failed her mission. The Aura beacon is full of a lethal dose of radiation, if the beacon is used wrong, it'll create a nuclear explosion which will make Gallifrey inhabitable.
Romana: Run?
The Doctor: Yeah.
The Doctor & Romana run to the TARDIS.
In the TARDIS:
Romana: You've redecorated?
The Doctor: Yeah.
Romana: I don't like it.
Romana looks at the scanner.
-Doctor! Quickly!
The beam is becoming closer to the sky.
At the gates of Elysium:
Caan: Nuclear threat detected.
Davros: What?
Caan: We must leave!
Davros: But I have just only concurred Gallifrey!
Caan: Master Davros will be saved!
A Dalek saucer appears, Caan & Davros transport inside as if flies away.
Black Dalek: Oh f-
The nuclear explosion occurs.
In the TARDIS:
The Doctor looks down.
Romana: So what now?
The Doctor: Gallifrey's history will change.
Romana: How?
The Doctor: Let me show you.
The Doctor pulls down on the lever.
On the Dalek saucer:
A black Dalek & two bronze Daleks emerge.
Caan: Dalek Sec, I have completed your missions.
Davros: Missions?
Sec: You have collected it?
Caan: Yes.
Davros: What am I doing here?
Sec: You are our prisoner Master Davros, you will begin a new mission which will involve all of the Galaxy!
A triangular pod like shape appears behind Dalek Caan.
Thay: It is here!
Jast: The Genesis Ark!
Davros: What is the genesis ark?
Sec: The ultimate weapon, now you will leave us.
Caan: Goodbye master Davros.
Davros: Goodbye cult of Skaro.
Davros flicks a switch, he disappears.
Sec: For now, we shall enter the void with the genesis ark until it is time for our plan to unfold!
Caan: The Daleks are supreme!
Sec: We are the supreme beings!
On Gallifrey's future:
The TARDIS Materialises, The Doctor & Romana exit.
Romana: It's like it was before the war.
The Doctor: It's been rebuilt.
Romana: What about Leela, Joura, Aura & Lord Rassilon?
The Doctor: I'm sorry.
Romana looks down.
Romana: Doctor?
The Doctor: Yeah?
Romana: There's something I never told you.
The Doctor: Go on.
Romana: Aura was the daughter of Omega, he most likely interfered in the activation of the Aura beacon.
The Doctor: How?
Romana: He was being kept prisoner in the cloister tower.
The Doctor: I see.
Romana hugs The Doctor.
-& one more thing, after it's rebuilt, after the war & everything, The Master, he destroys Gallifrey in a fit of rage.
Romana: What? What over?
The Doctor: That's a tale for another day.
The Doctor smiles.
Romana: I suppose I should I be going?
The Doctor: Goodbye Romana.
Romana: Goodbye Doctor.
The Doctor walks into the TARDIS, it materialises.
In the panopticon:
Romana is walking around.
Romana: Hello my fellow lordship. Hello m'lady, Hello Rassilon-
Romana turns her head to see an older version of Rassilon.
Rassilon: Hello there Romana.
In the TARDIS:
The Doctor: Well then old girl, just you & me, like the old days.
The TARDIS chimes.
-What do you mean you prefer Romana over me?
In Camden Loch:
Quira & Alex are sat on a bench eating.
Alex: Wonder when she'll be back?
Quira: I have no idea.
The TARDIS materialises, The Doctor steps out.
The Doctor: Well then! Of we pop!
Quira & Alex enter the TARDIS.
In the TARDIS:
The Doctor: Anywhere you wanna go in particular?
Alex: Nope!
Quira: Surprise us!
In the vortex:
The Doctor: Of we go to the new adventures that await us!
They all scream.

Next Time:
Alex: Zero?
Quira: What does that mean?
The Doctor: We're at the dawn of time.
The Doctor: Traces of Gallifreyan DNA.
Quira: Timelord DNA?
The Doctor: Yeah & there's only one person it can be.
Alex: Kora?
The Doctor nods.
Alex: So, what do we do? Because that city can't be there can it?
The Doctor: We take it down.
