3.6 - Here We Stand (Part Two)

Ace: PREVIOUSLY ON DOCTOR WHO:
Ashley walks through A street, a hooded man rushes past her.
Ashley: Watch it!
Another Four men rush past her, she falls.
-Now I know what I liked about being in hospital.
Ashley looks Around.
-No, no! Don't even think about it! Well maybe one little look.
Ashley follows the men down a dark alleyway where she sees a man with a pig head with big black eyes having a bag put over its head.
-What the hell?!
Ashley: Something's not right.
The Doctor: What?
Ashley: I think something is happening in north London.
The Doctor: Like?
Ashley: I don't know, but it's sinister & evil.
Ace: This was spotted yesterday evening.
Ace plays a clip of a pig headed man running, with four men behind him.
Ashley: That's what i saw?
The Doctor: What do you mean?
Ashley: Well, that's what I saw when I was walking home from-
She hesitates.
-The shop.
Ace: Interesting, Your sighting & this one isn't the first either.
Ashley: Seriously?
Ace: Yeah, all across north London.
Ashley: What's going on?
Ace: I don't know, but whatever it is, it's sick.
Corson: Ace, we've had another one.
Ashley shines a torch, she sees a man with a pig head watching her, she screams.
Ace: Oh my god.
The Doctor sonics him.
The Doctor: Human.
Ashley: Oh my god.
The Doctor: Compressed in with a pig.
Ashley: You mean, it's like a mermaid?
Ace: Yeah.
Ashley: Half Human, half pig.
Ace: Who's done this.
Corson: We have.
Ace: Corson?
Corson: Yes, Me.
Ashley: Why are you doing this?
Corson: I've always wanted to know if different biological structures mix.
The Doctor: So that's all this is?
Ace: A sick & twisted science experiment?
Corson: Yes, but not sick or twisted.
Krytzo appears.
Krytzo: Corson, I'm going to have to tell you that this compound has been taken over.
A charitable earth blows up, They duck.
Ashley: Well, at least it's over.
Ace: No, no it's not.
The Doctor: What?
Ace: I have a spare DNA compressor that I found when the Slitheen came here a while back & it's in my lockup.
The Doctor: Right?
Ace: & Corson knows where it is, if we don't stop her, the whole of this planet will be at stake.
The Doctor: Not it I can he-
The Doctor falls.
Ashley: Doctor!
Corson is holding a blaster.
-Come on regenerate!
The Doctor begins to glow.
Ace: That's it! What have you done?!
Corson shoots the Doctor again, he stops glowing.
Ashley: No!
Ace: He's dead.
Ashley looks at Ace.
Ashley: No!
Ashley cries.
Intro
Underwater sounds play, Ashley is washing her hair, she gets out of the bath.
Ashley: Oh, it's bloody cold.
Her phone rings.
-Ace?
Ace: I've got the DNA compressor.
Ashley: What are you gonna do with it?
Ace: It needs to be destroyed.
Ashley: How?
A gunshot goes of down the phone.
Ace: That's how.
Ashley: See you.
Ashley cuts Ace off, she opens a tub of moisturiser &
Applies it to her arms.
In Ace's lockup:
Ace coughs, she waves her hand around in an attempt to rid of the smoke.
Ace: Well, didn't expect you to smell like Mel's barbecue when she forgot to clean it!
Ace falls over.
-What on earth?!
Ace looks out of a peephole, she notices a man with a Shark head in a crane & is holding her high up.
-Gordon Bennet.
Corson: Attention!
Ace: What on earth?!
Corson: Hand over the DNA compressor!
Ace: I've destroyed it.
Corson: Rubbish! Your not stupid enough to destroy a piece of equipment like that!
Ace: I was right too! If anyone gets their hands on it, god knows what they could do!
Ace opens a locker.
-Think about it! It could ruin the whole of humanity!
She takes out two cans of deodorant.
-Ever heard of nitro 9?
Corson: Nitro 9?
Ace: Just normal nitroglycerin, but with a bit of a punch!
Ace opens the deodorant cans, she also opens the door of her lock up & throws them down towards Corson.
-last person to get away from 'em is a gooey mess!
Corson runs, as the cans explode.
Corson: You think you can escape me that easily?
Ace: Damn it!
Corson looks up to the shark-headed man, she nods, The shark-headed man let's go of a lever, dropping Ace's lockup, with her inside, Ace screams.
-No!
In a supermarket:
Ashley puts her face covering on.
Ashley: Beans beans beans.
Ashley picks up a multipack of beans, a man with a hood up runs past her, she drops the beans on her feet.
-Ow! Watch it!
The hooded man raises a hand to say sorry, she notices that his hand is furry, suddenly Krytzo runs past her.
-You?
Krytzo: Hello again.
Shelf stacker: Mask?
Krytzo: Asthma.
Ashley raises an eyebrow.
-Come on, I may as well explain to you why I keep chasing people.
Ashley: Go on.
Krytzo: As you know I work for the Judoon.
Ashley: Judoon?
Krytzo: Space police.
Ashley: Wow, I expected stormtroopers or something like that.
Krytzo: I am Krytzo, leader of the Judoon GDIs.
Ashley: GDIs?
Krytzo: Galactic Detective Inspector.
Ashley: Ah ok, so why do I keep running into you?
Krytzo: These people, as you know are results of horrific experiments that have been conducted under A Charitable Earth, we track them down & take them away from earth.
Ashley: What do you do with them once you capture them?
Krytzo: Hm?
Ashley: What do you do with them? Reverse the surgeries? Turn them into animals completely? Give them a park to run around in?
Krytzo: We put them down.
Ashley: What?
Krytzo: The Judoon have a policy.
Ashley: A wrong one.
Krytzo: I can't do anything about it.
Ashley: Really?
Krytzo: Yeah.
Ashley: No wonder as to why they keep running from you, sending them right to their deaths.
Krytzo: It's life.
Ashley: No! Don't you dare say it's life! It's murder!
In a morgue:
A man is about to cut into The Doctor's naked corpse which is laying on the table, the phone rings, The Doctor opens his eyes.
The Doctor: What am I doing? Stark naked on a operating table?!
The man turns around & faints, The Doctor looks down.
-Well, I had no idea my body was this impressive!
The Doctor gets up & leaves the Building, A woman screams.
-Oh, I see.
The Doctor takes a TARDIS key from his backside, the TARDIS materialises around him.
Woman: Where?!
The Doctor: You don't wanna know.
In the TARDIS:
The Doctor clicks his fingers, clothes appear on him, an alarm goes off, The Doctor checks the screen to see Ace trapped inside of her lockup.
The Doctor: Oh no.
In a supermarket:
Ashley: Where's your teleporting thing?
Krytzo: My Vortex Manipulator?
Ashley: Yeah.
Krytzo: Here, on my wrist.
Ashley takes the vortex manipulator from his wrist.
-What are you doing?
Ashley throws it on the floor & stamps on it, it is completely broken.
Ashley: No one & when I say no one, will die in your sick program.
Krytzo: It's law!
Ashley: Correction! It's galactic law! The law on most parts on earth are completely different! I know people that can set up a safe haven for the results of this sick experiment!
Krytzo: Do you now?
Ashley: Please, no one else dies today, agreed? Just let me call my contacts & get this sorted!
Krytzo: Fine.
Ashley takes her phone out & rings Kate Stewart.
Kate: Ashley? How can I help you?
Ashley: There's something going on in London, these experiments are being conducted, the only way to get rid of them is the euthanasia program organised by the Judoon.
Kate: I'm aware of the results of the experiments, however I wasn't aware of the Judoon's program.
Ashley: Is there anything you can do?
In UNIT:
Kate turns around.
Kate: In fact, we have a few here that have been bought in by the soldiers.
Ashley: What are you gonna do with them?
Kats: We're trying to set up a refuge for those who may have crash landed on earth, we'd prefer to call it a galactic rehabilitation centre.
Ashley: So, you should be able to stop the Judoon's euthanised program?
Kate: We hope so, yes.
Ashley: Ok, thanks Kate.
Kate: No problem.
Kate cuts of Ashley.
In the supermarket:
Krytzo: Well?
Ashley puts her phone in her pocket.
In the TARDIS:
Ace appears on the floor, she has a cut on her head.
The Doctor: Ace?! Ace?!
Ace rubs her head.
Ace: Corson! The bag! She did this!
The Doctor: Did what?
Ace: She picked me up & dropped me from a crane.
The Doctor: She needs to be stopped.
In the supermarket:
Ashley & Krytzo enter a storage room, she hears sniffing & crying.
Ashley: Er, Hi, I'm Ashley.
Krytzo: We're here to help.
Ashley: I've met-
Slight pause.
-Others like you, let us help you please, What's your name?
Callum: Callum.
Ashley: Nice name.
Callum: Help me, I'm in pain.
Ashley: I've got some headache tablets?
Callum: I haven't got a headache, I feel painful emotionally.
Ashley: I haven't got any antidepressants sorry, but I know someone, this Great person that could help you, please, they can give you protection from the Judoon's euthanasia program.
In the TARDIS:
Ace: Wait! I saw you die! Corson shot you before you could regenerate!
The Doctor: Backup regeneration!
Ace: What?
The Doctor: Had enough regeneration energy to make myself better again.
Ace: seriously?
The Doctor: Yup! Ended up streaking down the street, what does it mean when a woma-
Ace: Enough! We need to get Ashley.
The Doctor: No.
Ace: What do you mean No?
The Doctor: The only reason she went to hospital was because of me, I can't set her off again by returning from the dead.
Ace: She's lost without you Professor.
The Doctor: It's Doctor!
Ace: I mean, at least you're taking in other people into consideration for once.
The Doctor: What?
Ace: When I was with you, you made my life hell, nice to see you care, I mean it's god knows how Mant years too late for you too change what you did to me!
The Doctor: I've changed.
Ace: Oh I know you have!
The Doctor: Then why are you bringing it up?!
Ace: Because it's not fair! It's not fair Professor! You ruined me!
The Doctor: But I made you grow u-
Ace: That's not point!
The Doctor: I-
Ace: Your sorry? YOUR SORRY?! IT'S OVER 20 YEARS TOO LATE FOR THAT!
Ace lets out a scream of anger, The Doctor pulls down the lever.
-Where are we going?
The Doctor: Your right, I shouldn't leave Ashley like this, I'm gonna go & get her.
Ace: Yeah! Go & mess her around too! Like you did with Hex & Sally & Lysandra.
The Doctor: Don't mention the Eld-
Ace: The Elder gods?! What is wrong with you! You constantly mess with people's heads, you should of stayed dead.
In the supermarket:
The TARDIS materialises.
Ashley: What's your race called?
Krytzo: There called X.
Ashley: X?
Krytzo: For being crossed between people & animals.
Ashley: People are animals, just look.
Ace & The Doctor steps out, Ace's face is wet & covered in tears, the Doctor is quiet.
-No! No!
Ashley cries.
-How could you?
Ashley slaps the Doctor.
Krytzo: Ashley!
Krytzo holds Ashley back.
Ashley: You died!
The Doctor: I'm sorry.
Ashley: No! You keep doing this too me!
Ace shakes her head.
Ace: Come here.
Ace hugs Ashley.
Ashley: Have you been crying?
Ace: Just hay fever.
Ashley: Doctor? What did you say too her?
Ace: Just a few home truths.
Kate appears.
Kate: Hello, I'm Kate Stewart.
Callum: I'm Callum.
Kate: We've got a refuge which holds multiple other X's.
Callum: What?
Kate: We're offering you a safe haven, please, take it!
Callum looks at The Doctor.
The Doctor: She's not lying too you mate.
Callum: Really?
The Doctor: Yeah.
Callum: Ok.
Kats: Come on, come with me.
In the TARDIS:
The Doctor: Where do you want me to drop you off? Ace: Perivale.
The Doctor: Really?
Ace: Yeah, A Charitable Earth is gone.
Ashley: What about insurance?
Ace: Corson said she was handling it, that's why I hired her, to sort my insurance, she's got all of it.
Corson appears.
Corson: Well well well, You've gotten through my plan.
Krytzo: Yes, yes we have.
Corson: This isn't over.
Krytzo: Oh, I think it is.
The TARDIS roundels turn red, The Judoon appear.
The Doctor: Well, this is familiar.
Judoon: Under Judoon Jurisdiction, you are under arrest for mass genocide.
Ashley: Rhinos?!
Ace: Your still new too all this then?
Ashley: You got that right!
The Judoon disappear, with Corson.
Ace: So, Perivale it is then.
In Perivale:
Ace exits the TARDIS with the Doctor.
Chantelle: Ace!
Ace: Chantelle?
Chantelle: Didn't think you'd be back after the lizard men thing.
Ace: This is Home, it's home for me.
Chantelle: Café?
Ace: Yeah.
Ace waves at The Doctor, he smiles & gets back into the TARDIS.
-Oh Doctor!
The Doctor: Yeah?
Ace: There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, where the sea's asleep and the rivers dream, people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice and somewhere else the tea is getting cold. Go on Professor, you've got work to do.
The Doctor: Goodbye Ace.
Ace walks of, the Doctor gets back into the TARDIS.
In the TARDIS:
The Doctor: So, where am I dropping you?
Krytzo: About that.
Ashley: I thought we could do with some company.
The Doctor: No! I forbid it!
Ashley: What?
The Doctor: I'm sorry, but I can't have two of you, not anymore.
Ashley: Please Doctor, he wants to see more than street corners & condiment isles.
The Doctor: Alright, one trip that's it!
Krytzo: Seriously?
The Doctor: Yup!
Krytzo: That's grea-
The Doctor: Three rules! 1; This is my ship 2; You do as I say & 3; I'll make up eventually.
Ashley laughs, Krytzo smiles.

NEXT TIME:
The TARDIS materialises on a beach, The Doctor & Ashley step out.
Ashley: Krytzo! It's safe to come out! We're in Benidorm!
A man stands over Ashley.
Ashley: No! I've already told you I don't want your stale G&T.
The man growls.
-What?
Ashley looks up to see a man with red eyes, Grey skin & yellow teeth, she gets up, the man grabs her arm & attempts to bite it, she screams.
-Get of of me!
The Doctor: You could be infected, come on.
Ashley: What?!
The Doctor: Sorry!
Ashley: No! Don't give me your Cheshire Cat smile & your innocent 'sorry'. Am I gonna die?
