3.7 - Day Of The Dead

In the TARDIS:
The Doctor: So, where am I dropping you?
Krytzo: About that.
Ashley: I thought we could do with some company.
The Doctor: No! I forbid it!
Ashley: What?
The Doctor: I'm sorry, but I can't have two of you, not anymore.
Ashley: Please Doctor, he wants to see more than street corners & condiment isles.
The Doctor: Alright, one trip that's it!
Krytzo: Seriously?
The Doctor: Yup!
Krytzo: That's grea-
The Doctor: Three rules! 1; This is my ship 2; You do as I say & 3; I'll make up eventually.
Ashley laughs, Krytzo smiles.
Intro
The TARDIS materialises on a beach, The Doctor & Ashley step out.
Ashley: Krytzo! It's safe to come out! We're in Benidorm!
Krytzo steps out.
Krytzo: Benidorm?
Ashley: A hot city that never sleeps.
Suddenly there's screaming.
-Damn it! What's the date?
A tomato hits the Doctor.
The Doctor: Ow!
Ashley: 31st October 2021! It's the day of the dead festival!
The Doctor: How do you know about it?
Ashley: I helped one of my year sevens on a PowerPoint with it for Spanish homework.
The Doctor: Oh.
The Doctor, Ashley & Krytzo get caught up in the crowd.
Krytzo: Doctor?!
Ashley: Doctor?
The Doctor: Ashley?! Krytzo?!
Ashley runs through the crowd & falls on the beach.
Ashley: Ugh! Sand! Ow! It's hot!
In the crowd:
Krytzo: Doctor?! Doctor?! Doc-
Krytzo notices a man with red eyes & grey skin & yellow teeth.
-What the?
On the beach:
A man stands over Ashley.
Ashley: No! I've already told you I don't want your stale G&T.
The man growls.
-What?
Ashley looks up to see a man with red eyes, Grey skin & yellow teeth, she gets up, the man grabs her arm & attempts to bite it, she screams.
-Get of of me!
It growls again, she grabs a rock & hits him over the head, she runs away, The Doctor sees her & runs over, Ashley hugs him.
The Doctor: What's happened?!
Ashley: There's a zombie on the beach.
The Doctor notices it.
-Where's Krytzo?
The Doctor: I don't know, we lost him.
The Doctor sonics it.
-It's viral.
Ashley: What?
The Doctor: It's composed of a virus.
Ashley: Oh Jesus.
The Doctor: Did it touch you?
Ashley: Yeah.
The Doctor: Oh no.
Ashley: What?!
The Doctor: You could be infected, come on.
Ashley: What?!
The Doctor: Sorry!
Ashley: No! Don't give me your Cheshire Cat smile & your innocent 'sorry'. Am I gonna die?
The Doctor: I'm sorry, I don't know.
Ashley cries.
Ashley: We get Krytzo, we get this sorted, we go & I then I go.
The Doctor: What?
Ashley: I'm leaving, I've had enough of this near death stuff, it's too much.
Krytzo: Doctor! There's a zombie in the centre!
The Doctor gives Ashley his sonic.
The Doctor: I've got an antidote for the virus that has infected you.
Ashley: & it works does it?
The Doctor: Yeah.
Ashley: Right, is she unlocked?
The Doctor: Yup.
Ashley: Good.
Ashley walks away.
Krytzo: What's up with her?
The Doctor: Oh nothing, did that zombie touch you?
Krytzo: No.
The Doctor: Good, come on.
In the TARDIS:
Ashley plugs the sonic screwdriver into the console.
Becca appears.
Becca: You should be taking your meds you know.
Ashley: I'm fine, I don't need them.
Becca: They'll think you mad.
Ashley: No they won't.
Becca: Ugh yeah the will.
Ashley: Oh just leave me alone!
Becca: We were best mates.
Ashley: You died.
Becca: But did I? When you saw me in the sleep world, I can put my hand on my heart, I was alive! I still am! I escaped the titanic!
Ashley: How?
Becca: Dalek time travel, cheap & nasty, but worth it.
Ashley: Stop this!
Becca: Yeah, I'm gonna let you take the antidote.
Becca disappears, A tablet appears on a Petri dish & a glass of water next to it.
Ashley: This'll make me better will it?
The TARDIS chimes.
-Well what have I got to loose!
Ashley put the tablet on her tongue, she drinks the water.
-Get me looking like something out of the walking dead, nice try.
The Doctor & Krytzo enter.
The Doctor: How many tablets?
Ashley: I took one, but there's more there.
The Doctor: Great, I need these.
The Doctor sonics them, dissolving them into dust.
Krytzo: What are you doing?
The Doctor: Creating an airborn vaccine.
Ashley: What?
The Doctor: I'm releasing this upon the city.
The Doctor sonics them, they go out of the door & float gently across the city.
-Let that be the end of it.
Ashley: What about those completely changed?
The Doctor: The antidote won't reverse the changes, it'll kill them instead.
Ashley: What?
The Doctor: Your ok don't worry.
Ashley: It's got nothing to do with me, it's the people you've let die!
The Doctor: Go.
Ashley: What?!
The Doctor: It's clear that you don't wanna be here anymore.
Krytzo: I do.
The Doctor: No, I want you both to leave, I can't keep putting you in unnecessary danger.
Ashley: Your only saying this now!?
The Doctor: Your right, all I bring is death, so go both of you.
Ashley: Into a country that we know nothing about?
The Doctor: I'll drop you home.
Krytzo: What about me?
The Doctor: I'll drop you back off with the Judoon.
Krytzo: No! I'm not gonna go back there!
Ashley: You can stay with me, my auntie Valda can give you a job in her supermarket.
Krytzo: Thanks?
Ashley: Your welcome.
The Doctor pulls down the lever.
In London:
Ashley & Krytzo exit the TARDIS, it materialises.
Ashley: Bye to you too.
Krytzo: He just went.
Ashley: He does that, come on, let's go & get drunk or something.
They walk away.
On another world:
The TARDIS materialises, The Doctor steps out.
Woman: Ah you came!
The Doctor: What do you two want?
Man: We haven't seen you since that horrific incident on that old earth ship, what was it called again Rani?
The Rani: The titanic.
The Master: Ah yes! The Titanic!
The Doctor: Why do you two wanna see me?
The Rani: We have a message, from beyond the grave.
The Doctor: What message?!
The Master: When the Woman falls, An evil shall awaken from beyond the grave! When this evil awakens! Neo shall scream for the Doctor's death! Neo will get they're vengeance.
The Doctor: Neo?!
The Rani: You seem to know of this name?!
The Doctor: Molly.
The Master: O Sullivan?
The Doctor: Yes.
The Master: She's Neo?!
The Rani: I thought she died.
The Doctor: So did I, until I found Neo.
The Master: What is Neo?
The Doctor looks panicked.
The Rani: You seem panicked, but really Doctor, what is Neo?
The Doctor: The most powerful being to ever exist.
The Master & The Rani gasp.

Ashley: The only way is up.
Krytzo: What?!
Ashley: We climb out of this thing & we climb down on the cable.
Krytzo: Have you lost it?! We're so high! We could end up that child's ice cream that got dropped whilst we were queuing up.
Ashley: You wanna survive?
Krytzo: You wanna end up as dinosaur food?
Ashley takes her shoe off & smashes the glass.
The TARDIS appears in the sky, The Doctor opens the door.
The Doctor: Ashley Come on!
Ashley: Oh do one!
The Doctor: Please! I don't want to loose you!
Krytzo: No! Ashley!
The Doctor: No!
