I kinda left ya'll on a cliffhanger for a few months, my bad, I'm so sorry.

Regulus had just left the common room and was taking the quickest route to the nearest exit. He was to submerged in his thoughts to even spot the lion stalking his way towards him from behind.

It was only when his shoulder was roughly grabbed and he was turned around did he realise there was even another person down there.

An insult was ready to leave his tongue for whoever dared to grab him like that, only to fall silent when he saw who it was.

"First of all," James started with narrowed eyes. "I should be hitting you so hard you started tasting colours, but I have a feeling my sister would murder me if I did," he said and Regulus narrowed his eyes.

"Then why are you here?" He asked, keeping his head high.

"Because my sister is miserable and I'm going to need you to get your shit together and apologise to her," James said sternly and Regulus huffed.

"I need to apologise?" He asked. "She was the one-"

"You listen here you little prat, you," he pointed a threatening finger against his chest. "You actually told my little sister to shut up, you don't even fully realize what she is going trough and you just made it worse, she has been miserable for the past days and you need to fix it," he hissed and Regulus was taken aback, for a moment just staring at him in silence.

"Miserable how?" He finally asked.

"She doesn't leave the tower, she barely eats, she never wants to talk, she's always in bed yet never seems to sleep, I do not know what you did or said to her but she is not taking it well, so you have to apologise because I cannot take it to see her like this any longer," James told him angrily.

His little sister was hurting and he could not stand to see her like this. So, he did the unimaginable and willingly started talking to a Slytherin.

Regulus stood in silence for a moment, just looking up at James who wore a stern expression on his face. It was one Regulus had never seen on him before, it was quite weird.

"Alright," he finally replied. "I'll apologise to her, but I can't promise it does anything good," he added.

"Godric I hope it will, fighting with one Black is draining enough, I can't imagine fighting with two," he grumbled and moved to walk off.

"It's not really fighting though, is it?" Regulus snidely asked, surprising them both. "More like ignoring," he continued on and James froze at his words, his fists balling, digging his nails into his palms making his knuckles go white.

"You don't know what happened," he said through gritted teeth, keeping his eyes trained on the ground.

"It's what everyone keeps saying and maybe I can get behind no one wanting to tell me, but I can not simply watch as you people are destroying my brother without even realising it," he bit and James turned around with wide eyes.

"You think we are enjoying the situation? You think we want to do this?" He asked furiously. "I've been ignoring my best mate and I know he's doing bad but what can I do? I have to support one friend but with that I have to ignore the other but if I keep ignoring him I'm going to sent him over the edge, but if I don't do it I'm going to hurt one of my other best mates who does not deserve it and has already gone trough enough bloody pain in his life!" He spilled out and Regulus was taken aback before narrowing his eyes.

"So Sirius has not gone through enough pain?" He asked, tilting his head. "You think he could use some more?"

"That is not what I said you are putting words in my mouth, Black," James accused with narrowed eyes. "I love Sirius, even if he is a complete and utter idiot, I love him like a brother and I always will," he stated and Regulus cast his eyes down.
