But if I OD, I want you to OD right beside me
I want you to follow right behind me

"Your moping," I said to my silver head friend. I had to raise my voice a little to be heard over the music that played loudly throughout the house.
"I don't mope" Minho states, but the way he leaned on the counter with his arms crossed and the bored look on his face—he was moping.
I shove a drink in his hands "Let loose my friend"
Minho furrows his brows "It's weird hearing you say that"
I sigh loudly "I dragged you hear at least try to act happy for me before I start to regret even coming"
Minho puts the drink down and grabs my wrist "Great, let's go" He said.
Before he could pull me out of the kitchen area I heard a familiar voice "Jisung, you made it!" I turn to Maya and she smiled at me and her gaze goes to Minho "Minho, hi"
Minho drops my hand "Hi, bye—got to go" Minho says before pushing past us and out of the kitchen. I furrow my brows and small crow forms on my face as I watch my friend leave me here with—
"He doesn't like me very much" I turn to Maya and I shake my head.
"No, he's just... just Minho" I tried to come up with a reason but there was none. I mean, he didn't like her but I wasn't going to tell her that. And it was true, it was Minho. Minho wasn't particularly a friendly guy but he wasn't a complete asshole to others either. I think if you were to ask someone who was the rudest out of the two of us, it would be me.
Minho wasn't the relationship type and I was but he was friendly, he started conversations with others easily. Me, I was just a bit more closed off and it tends to come off as rude. I just didn't have as much to say, not like him. I think it's what balances our friendship out. He talks and I listen—I talk and he listens.
"Right, just Minho being Minho"
I nod slowly "Yeah..." I start "I wasn't aware you paid so much attention to him"
"I don't, but that doesn't mean I'm completely blind. Just like with you, just because I never talked or acknowledged you before doesn't mean I didn't know who you were"
I look away "Sorry, I didn't mean for it to come out rude" I look back to her and she laughs lowly.
"It's fine Jisung, I'm just as aware of what people think of me as you are"
I inhale sharply "You are a lot different than what I expected"
A puzzled look forms on her face "I hope that's a good thing"
"It is, you seem to understand me a lot"
She smiles and looks around before saying "Let's go somewhere more quiet to talk?"
It felt like deja vu, her asking me this. I nod and she grabs my hand. Leading me out of the kitchen and up the stairs. Something fill my stomach, maybe it was anticipation.
Anticipation for whatever will happen. Last time this happened she tried to hook up and I wasn't sure I was fully ready for that with her. I think a part of me built on this fantasy of being with her that I'm afraid I will disappoint myself. That this was better just being a fantasy.
She pulls me into a room, a desk lamp was the only source of light but it still showed around the place. My eyes wandered around and I knew it was her room.
"Not what you expected?"
I shrug "I didn't know what to expect," I said, turning to her "Not after knowing you"
