Chapter 15 - Boss fight

The fierce battle began

Nimona charged at the several soldiers, knocking them out one by one switching between multiple forms

Ballister parried and dodged multiple attacks coming from all directions while attacking at the same time, throwing a sword for me to use

I jumped on nimona's back and grabbed the sword, when I landed I stomped on the floor, covering a small area with blue electricity and shifting the floor surface to powder

"Heh"

I smiled and spitted fire, causing a chain reaction of explosions, blowing several guards away...

All three of us were fighting to our best effort while having a blast

I felt someone bump into my back while clashing swords with a guard, I looked back to see Nimona as gorilla

"Hey m'lady!, care for a dance?" I said, pushing the guard away and offering my hand

"Try to keep up, blue star" She teased while turning into her human form

We did a freestyled dance for two, simultaneously kicking and punching guards all over the place

"Blue star? Are you calling me hot or is it because of my hair?" I teased her

Nimona: "Maybe a bit of both....what? Do you want me to call you dwarf?"

Ethan: "Pff- I'm taller than you"

Nimona: "yeah but you should be running 'short' of funny comments now shouldn't you?"

I leaned closer mid-dance

Ethan: "oh don't tell me you don't like 'em 'red dwarf' "

She blushed a little

Nimona: "I'm pink! Not red!"

Ethan: chuckle "you're short and your hair is red, can't deny that"
"oh oops!"

One of the guards tried to hit her but I pulled her out of the way

"Nah buddy she's mine get outta here"

I kicked him, causing him to fly several meters

"Don't just say stuff like that, it's embarrassing" She said with a grin

"Hey I just saved you from a paper cut, at least lemme have my fun"
I responded while we spun around and I let go of her hand, she kept spinning and jumped, kicking several guards in an acrobatic jump

"The dance was fun, but we still got lots of breaking to do" she said as she landed

"On it!" I responded

Author's pov

Both Nimona and Ballister fought together defeating the multiple soldiers trying to neutralize them

"Oof sorry not sorry!" She yelled as she hit one of them in the.....nuts....ow...

Ethan was about to get struck by one of them when he parried the attack with just his arm

"My skin's tougher than It looks bud" He said kicking the knight and knocking several other knights in the process

I quickly ran to Nimona and Ballister to regroup

"How you guys holding up?" I said with a pile of soldiers behind me
