"Oh, Livvyyyyy!" Kai trilled from behind me and I turned around to find him floofing up his hair, which had tragically fallen away from its classic mohawk style. I raised an eyebrow at him and he halted to a stop right in front of me, "Have you seen my sunscreen?" We were going to the beach and Kai was always losing important stuff right before we went.

"Have I seen your sunscreen?" I tapped my chin, "Uh... how about no."

"I swear I put it down somewhereeee." Kai whined and then lifted up a finger when I opened my mouth, "And no, Liv, I did not lose it."

"Mhm." I drawled, my eyes narrowed in annoyance. "For sure."

"Okay, yes, I lost my sunscreen for now." Kai's head drooped, as well as his mohawk, which fell apart, and he pushed his hair up with one hand. "Can I borrow yours?" He grinned sheepishly, "Pretty please?"

"Promise me that you'll give it back." I said, tossing the sunscreen to Kai. As he rushed off with it, I shouted at him from behind his back, "And never say pretty please to me again."

"I won't!" Kai called and I rolled my eyes before turning on my phone. Lloyd had texted me and I tapped on our private chat, making a "whoosh" sound on my phone.

We're all set with the whole ride situation. Where's Kai?

Borrowing my sunscreen. Somehow lost his again 🙄

😂

Are we picking Victor up or is he meeting us?

Oh, don't worry about him. He has his brand new car and everything 😏

Cool. Tell Kai to hurry up. BTW, his hair 🤣

OMW down. LOL to Kai's hair 😂

I ran down the stairs with Kai trailing behind me and hopped into Jay's vehicle, which was called the Electric Falcon. Jay had modified it so that it could fit all us Ninja, plus P.I.X.A.L and Skylar. Uncle Wu and Mom had made a quick trip to the Library of Domu this morning and they planned to return by sundown, so we had much time to spare without them.

"Jay, are you sure that your... plane thingy can fit all 9 of us?" Cole squinted up at it, "I don't know if I completely trust this pile of rickety junk."

"Uh-" Jay sputtered for a good two minutes before protesting, "This thing is not a pile of rickety junk! This is the Electric Falcon! It's an extremely useful vehicle and if you don't like it, then you can walk." Jay crossed his arms and turned his head the other way with a pout.

"Oh, relax." Cole hopped up into the Electric Falcon's front seat, "I'm sure that the Electric Flacon will get us to the beach just fine, no problem."

"Is everyone here?" Nya asked, looking around. "We've gotta get Sky, but then otherwise, we're good."

"I don't think we're missing anyone." I said, squinting up at the hot sun, "Can we please just get down to the water? I hope that the Electric Falcon's air conditioning doesn't break down mid flight again..."

"And be weary of the traffic lights." Zane suggested and we all turned to face the nindroid with a puzzled expression.

"He is flying us to the beach, Zane." P.I.X.A.L touched Zane's shoulder, "Flying requires above the traffic lights, so I do not know why you are afraid of getting into traffic."

"Oh. You are correct, P.I.X.A.L." Zane scratched his head, "I am afraid that I would need a check up soon. Even robots require some old touch ups."

"We can get to that after the beach." Lloyd suggested, "Or do you really not feel good?"
