I blinked awake, just in time to see the upside down face of a boy with golden eyes and golden hair leaning over me. I let out a yelp and then reared up, accidentally smacking my forehead into the boy's nose bridge.

We both let out a groan of pain as I rubbed my forehead and the boy his nose bridge. He held his nose as he looked over at me, "Gosh, woman. How hard is that skull of yours?"

"Says the one who has iron for a nose." I muttered, dropping my hand from my forehead and looking at the boy, "Who are you?"

"Me?" The boy blinked, dropping his tan hand away from his nose.

"No, the ghost next to you." I drawled sarcastically before crossing my arms, "Yes you-"

A pain so sharp flared through me and I bent over, letting out heavy breaths. I gently leaned myself against a wall and then sank down, sitting and trying to orient myself as the pain slid along my stomach, making me feel raw.

"Whoa, whoa. Take it easy, okay?" The new boy put a hand on my shoulder, trying to get me to steady my breathing, "You were stabbed. The wound was well taken care of, but it's still gonna hurt for a couple of days."

"Great." I eased out a breath from behind clenched teeth.

After the pain had slightly dulled, the boy looked over at me, "And to answer your question, by the way, I'm Fang."

"Livana Garmadon." I nodded my head at Fang, "I would shake your hand, but it hurts to move it."

"No problem at all." Fang responded, "And I know who you are. You fight crime with your brother, Lloyd Garmadon, and the rest of the Ninja team, right?"

"Uh-huh." I nodded my head.

"Cool. I admire your bravery to protect Ninjago. It's hard stuff, watching over such a big city. I live in Ninjago myself. Now, well, things got complicated, let's say that." Fang twisted the corner of his dirty white shirt.

"It's not bad most of the time." I admitted, "It's just stopping burglaries, theft, sometimes a villain escapes from Kryptarium Prison and you haul their arse back."

Fang snorted, "Hm."

"Do you know why they kidnapped us?" I asked, "The only ones I've met so far are Rattlesnake and Morro, who is shockingly alive, much to my disappointment. But none of those two seem like the mastermind of this whole operation."

"They're not." Fang answered, "They report to someone else, but I don't know who."

"I can't believe Morro is alive." I put my head in my hands, "Well, he's not alive alive, but you get my point. I thought that he went back to the Cursed Realm and never returned. What the hell is he doing back?"

"I don't know how they got back either." Fang scratched the back of his head, "In fact, the only thing I know is that they were planning to kidnap you, but I couldn't do anything because I was already... here."

"It's okay." I assured him, "But why did they take you, too?"

"It probably has to do with the fact that I'm a dragon master. Otherwise, I'm pretty useless." Fang winced sheepishly.

"Wait, hold on, what?" I blinked, "We're not gonna just skip past that, are we?"

"What?" Fang blinked cluelessly and I resisted the urge to facepalm.

"Dragon master? I thought they were extinct for years. How long have you been alive?" I asked, holding myself back from asking more questions.

"You're right. They have been extinct for years." Fang said, "But... I still got my dragon master powers. Or maybe I'm something different. I'm not sure though."
