"Isn't this place just... amazing?" Lloyd asked me as we walked down the streets of Ninjago City, the wind blowing at our heads. "I mean, it feels like it's just a place, but... this place is home."

"I'm glad I took the oath to protect this place. I don't think I can ever see the world without it." I stuffed my hands deep into my pockets and then lifted my face to the warm sun. "I mean, this place is kinda my world. I've grown up in it, so..."

"I saw that you and Luna went out for a little flight yesterday." Lloyd pointed out to me, ruffling his hair so that it stayed out of his eyes. "You're getting better at instructing her and she's getting better at listening. Just make sure that you be careful in the sky, okay?"

"Are you really that unconfident in me?" I teased, elbowing my older brother's side. "But okay. Yeah. I promise you, I'm gonna be careful."

"Good. I don't want you to get hurt." Lloyd said and then squinted when the rays of the sun moved across the street and into his eyes. "It's so sunny today."

"The weather called for rain today." I snorted, "So much for that."

"Did you want it to rain?" Lloyd asked me.

"Not particularly." I shook my head, "More like I want the weather prediction to be accurate for once so I can wear the right type of clothing." I gestured at my baggy hoodie, "I'm burning under this thing. Thank goodness I wore something under."

"Always good to wear layers." Lloyd agreed as I striped my hoodie off to reveal my black t-shirt underneath. I stretched my hands over my head and yawned, basking in the peace and quiet of the city.

"So... where did you wanna go?" I asked, "You took me down here for just a stroll or something? Which is okay, just to clarify."

"I wanted to take you to get some groceries, since today Zane planned to cook." Lloyd offered, "He said that we didn't have... hold on." He scrolled through his phone and then listed off, "We don't have carrots, potatoes, and he said we might need a second bag of rice."

"My guess is he's making curry." I said and Lloyd nodded.

"My guess, too-" He started to say, but then a scream cut through the air.

"HELP!!" I whirled around to see a man wearing a black mask heading right at me, something shaped like a purse clutched in his hands. He ran right into me, bowling us both to the ground. The air was temporarily knocked out of my lungs, and I gasped when my back hit the hard concrete surface.

"What the f-" The man got up immediately and then clutched the bag tightly to his chest. "Sorry miss. I'll be on my way now."

"Oh, a polite burglar. We don't see one of those everyday." I slipped my hood over my face and then smirked from underneath it, "Care to give that purse back to the lady it belongs to before we have to resort to extreme measures?"

The burglar took a step back, clutching the purse even tighter till I thought the leather straps would break. "I knew you looked familiar. You're that kid ninja, aren't you?"

"Aw, see, Lloyd? Not all burglars are stupid." I nodded at Lloyd, who had unzipped his hoodie, revealing his ninja uniform and throwing his green hood over his face. "But seriously, you should get that purse back to that lady before something bad happens."

"Malicious much, sis?" Lloyd asked, raising an eyebrow at me.

"Let me have my fun." I responded back before I faced the burglar and cocked an eyebrow. "Don't make me count. I trust you're old enough to not need that anymore."

"Dang, you're a savage today." Lloyd muttered underneath his breath and I tossed a look at him before facing the burglar, my eyebrows lifting a bit higher.
