I woke up with my damp face pressed against the sheets, the rest of it tangled in between my legs. I shivered, trying my best to untangle myself as I sat up, brushing my hair back. My finger caught on a tangle and I hissed in pain, wrenching my finger free before I stared blankly out the window. A bird landed on my window and I looked at it. It peered at me with small, bright, and intelligent eyes before it flapped off, gifting the morning its song.

"Ughhh." I groaned softly and rubbed my eyes when suddenly, Lloyd barged into my room and then slammed the door shut behind him, leaning against it while he let out a heavy breath. I jumped and then threw the covers over myself with a yelp.

"Hey, hey, hey. Sorry!" I heard Lloyd's muffled voice through the blanket and he lifted it up, exposing me back to the outside world. I crossed my arms, tugging at my long sleeves without even realizing it.

"What did you do?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Um... accidentally faded Kai's uniform in the washer." Lloyd said with a soft wince, "It's kind of a salmon color now..."

"Oh, you're on your own for that one." I lifted up my hands, "I don't want any part in this. Uh-uh. Nope."

"I didn't even see his reaction. All I did was run." Lloyd informed me, sitting on the edge of my bed and brushing his hair away from his eyes. "You think he's mad?"

"Oh, furious of course." I said, picking at the ends of my hair and then meeting Lloyd's eyes. "So... why did you choose to hide in my room of all places?"

"I don't know. I just scrambled for the first room I saw." Lloyd said, "I also-" Suddenly, Kai's voice ripped through the air, causing both of us to wince, Lloyd especially.

"WHO DID THIS?!" Kai's voice thundered and Lloyd let out a small yelp, scrambling onto the bed and hiding behind me. I glared at him amusingly and raised an eyebrow when Kai popped into the room, his eyes practically blazing at this point.

"Liv." He held up his uniform, which was indeed salmon pink. "Did you do this?"

"I just got up." I said flatly.

Kai turned his burning gaze to Lloyd, "And what do you have to say for yourself?" He glared at Lloyd, who seemed to shrivel more and more by the second. I sighed with annoyance, wanting to ask them if they could take their argument somewhere else, but I simply stayed silent about that part.

"Um... I..." Lloyd stammered, looking between Kai and I.

"He did do it." I admitted for Lloyd, who shot me a glare of betrayal. Kai stepped forward with an angry growl but I continued, "However, Kai, I distinctly remember that you did something exactly like this before, mixing up colors for laundry. So why don't you just take a step back, relax, and let it go? You've done this before and you know it wasn't on purpose. So just breathe, calm down, and forgive Lloyd."

Kai glared at me, his gaze steely. "And how do you intend to fix my uniform?"

"Can you take a deep breath?" I asked, "Chill for a second, won't you? We can fix your uniform, Kai. We got Zane a new one after his old uniform turned pink, didn't we?"

Kai let out a soft sigh, "I suppose."

Lloyd peeked out from behind me and then murmured, "I'm sorry, Kai. I didn't mean to mess up your uniform. It's my fault. I'm sorry again."

"It's okay." Kai brushed his fingers along the points of his mohawk, "I lost my cool there. Didn't mean to scare all of you. Sorry about that."

"Now both of you go away." I said, raising an eyebrow, "Because I needed to change for the past 10 minutes but you two were in here doing your shenanigans."
