My time at the Darkly's Boarding School for Bad girls was the darkest time of my life.

People had always expected a bad person out of me because of my father, who is extremely well known as an evil person, if you couldn't tell by now. But the thing is, I'd always wanted to be a hero... but also a villain.

I hated it when people expected things from me because of what my forefathers did. Just because they did what they did, it doesn't mean I'll end up like them. (Yes, I know I was convinced to turn out like my father a few weeks ago, but that's a totally different thing, okay?!) At least, that's what I kept telling myself as I wandered the lonely, damp, cold hallways of the boarding school.

I never got why Mom dumped me there when there were so many other places to go. She could've at least put me with Uncle Wu in the first place. That would have been much easier and much better judgment. But what's done is done. If I complain about it, I'll only make myself angrier and the past still won't change. Mom can apologize to me a million times, but will I have ended up someplace else? Someplace better? No. Which is why complaining won't do.

I leapt over the moving spikes in the monastery training course and then ducked as a wooden spike nearly hit me in the face. Suddenly, Nya ran out of the monastery doors, waving her hands at me. I leapt off the training course platform before walking over to her, "What's up, Nya? Can I help you?"

"Yeah, you can, actually." Nya shook herself, "I need someone... to practice my powers with. Is it okay if you practice with me?" Ever since the whole attack that Prince Kalmaar unleashed on Ninjago, Nya became one with the sea to save us, we took away her powers to turn her back to normal, and she gained her powers little by little without turning back into quite literally an water girl, Nya has been practicing using her powers again. She usually did it by herself or with one person.

"Sure." I said, "How do you wanna practice?"

"Let's go down by the lake...?" Nya suggested, "I want to lift you out of the water."

"Lemme go change then. I don't wanna get my ninja gi soaking wet." I jogged into my room and slid into a purple sports top and black shorts. I slid my hair into a tight ponytail before rushing outside. "Okay, I'm ready now."

"Cool." Nya and I started walking down the steps. I glanced over at the lake and then Nya said, "So... How are things?"

I raised an eyebrow at her, "You just saw me yesterday at dinner."

"I'm trying to start a conversation here, okay?" Nya said with an eye roll, shoving my shoulder, and I smirked.

"I'm fine. I was just training, as you could see a few minutes ago."

"You were doing a really good job." Nya nodded, "You looked like your brother, leaping across the training course. He was really happy when he finally beat the whole thing."

"I can imagine." I snorted, "Lloyd gets excited over tiny things. It's actually kind of funny to watch."

"Can I ask you about something?" Nya said tentatively after a few moments.

"Shoot." I laced my hands behind my head and tilted my face towards the sky, taking in a deep breath of nice, cold air. It was a good day to be around water, even though I had just been at the beach two days ago. I did like helping my friends out, so I wasn't saying anything.

"There's a Darkly's Boarding School for Bad girls?" I winced and Nya added on, "Sorry. I didn't mean to change the subject so suddenly. I was just... curious. Is it okay if I ask about it? Because if you don't want to-"

"It's fine. It's not that big of a deal." But it is. "What do you want to know?"

"Did you know that Lloyd was at the Darkly's Boarding School for Bad Boys?" Nya leapt over a small tree root, "Like, did you know immediately, were you told...?"
