****MIKEY'S POV****

She doesn't quit, doesn't she. If I had known she was such a bitch, trust me, she would have been a nobody.

I saw Carter's face, full of anger. I'd do anything to make her feel better. But the thing was that I couldn't. I felt the same way. So I decided to do something about it. I went upstairs to the news room where I saw Montana talking shit. So I shut off the power and walked up to her.

"YOU JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH, CAN'T YOU?"

She turned around and laughed the most horrid laugh I have probably ever heard. "Are you just sorry for her? Or was that just some stupid dare? It's okay. You can admit it. No one hears us."

"What?"

"Kissing Carter. Come on. We all know she isn't the best you've dated."

"As a matter of fact, I'm sure she is. She's way better than whatever I thought I saw in you."

She moved closer. "Mikey, we both know that's not true."

"Leave her alone."

"I know you still have feelings for me."

"Yeah, and I attend Hogwarts in the summer."

"No need to be so rude."

"No need to be so bitchy."

She took a step closer. I took a step back. She laughed again. "So you're scared of me, now?"

"I'm not afraid of a little girl."

"Yeah. I can see. Apparently you date them now, too."

"I shouldn't have stopped Carter yesturday. You definately deserved it."

"You're never going to find anyone like me, Mikey."

"That's the point."

***CARTER'S POV***

Mikey stormed off to who-knows-where and Montana's announcements were cut off. Everyone stared at me in disbelief. Slowly, one by one, everyone unfrozed and kept on with their day. I walked to my locker to find a note taped to it:

I always win.

I didn't have to ask. I knew Montana had written it. Pist off, I crumbled it up and threw it in the garbage. She better not show up to rehersals today. She's taking everything that means everything to me.

I felt a hand on my sholder, so I spun around around to find Vinny.

"I'm sorry."

"Why do you always apologize? It's not your fault."

"I don't know, Carter. I honestly don't know what to do. I can't stand seeing you so hurt and broken like this."

"Vinn, I'm fine."

"No, you're not. You're like my twin. I know not everything's alright."

I found myself crying on Vinny's shoulder. "It's okay. You don't always have to be so strong."

***NICK'S POV***

I know Carter. I know she'll pull through. I'm just scared she'll go after Sian next. I wasn't ready to see her broken like Carter.

"Sian?"

"Yeah, Nick?"

"Can I...um...walk you to class?"

"Yeah. Sure."

I walked her to class, looking over my shoulder, making sure no one tried to hurt her in any way.

We arrive to class and she sat next to me. Soon enough, Carter came in with red puffy eyes, and sat behind me.

"Carter, are you alright?" Sian asked, concerned.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Never been better." Carter answered, flashing a fake smile.

"Sure?"

"Yes, Nick. I'm okay." I just turned around, wondering why Montana would be so mean to her. Montana's just lucky she hasn't done anything to Sian. She'd be sorry if she did.

Mikey stormed into class late. "Fusco? Where were you? You're late."

"My locker was jammed, Ms."

"I'll let this one slide. Take a seat."

Mikey hurried to his seat next to Carter. I could tell he noticed her eyes, because he started whipping tears away, comforting her. Telling her that it was going to be okay. He was being such a great, caring, comforting boyfriend. I wish someday, I'll be that kind of boyfriend for Sian.

Wait...what?

I think I'm developing feelings for her.
