-Stepping into the sun-

Eira's pov

The morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. As I slowly opened my eyes, the events of the previous night flooded my mind, making my heartbeat quicken. I found myself in an unfamiliar yet strangely comforting room, wrapped in the remnants of the passion we had shared.

Jasper lay beside me, his features softened by the morning light. His rhythmic breathing indicated that he was still peacefully sleeping. I couldn't help but watch him for a moment, the memories of our shared vulnerability and desire playing like a silent movie in my mind.

The sheets were a tangled mess, evidence of the intensity of our connection. I shifted slightly, feeling a twinge of soreness in my muscles. The physical reminder of the night sent a shiver down my spine, and I couldn't suppress the smile that crept onto my face.

I carefully extricated myself from the sheets, not wanting to disturb Jasper's peaceful slumber. As I stood and stretched, my muscles groaning. Silently, I gathered Jasper's clothes from the floor and put on his shirt.

The air in Jasper's bedroom was filled with a quiet, lingering energy. I tiptoed towards the window, drawn to the view outside. The world seemed different in this warm bubble of mine, where I wanted to stay a little longer.

A soft breeze ruffled the curtains, and I took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of the morning. The weight of the previous night's decisions hung in the air, and a mix of emotions swirled within me - excitement, uncertainty, and a tinge of vulnerability. I had taken a leap into the unknown, and now I had to face the consequences.

Turning away from the window, I cast a final glance at the sleeping Jasper. The lines on his face were smoothed out in sleep, and a sense of peace washed over me. The connection we had forged felt real and raw, transcending the physicality of our encounter.

As I made my way to the door, I hesitated for a moment, considering whether to leave without waking him. However, a gentle curiosity tugged at me, urging me to linger a little longer.

I found my way to the kitchen, the smell of freshly brewed coffee guiding me. The night we had spend was beautiful but his house screamed with the lack of passion and warmth. I poured myself a cup of coffee, savoring its comforting warmth.

The creak of a door caught my attention, and I turned to find Jasper standing in the doorway, his eyes heavy with sleep but filled with a warmth that mirrored the morning sun.

"Good morning," he greeted, a small smile playing on his lips.

"Morning," I replied, returning the smile. The air between us held a newfound easiness, a silent acknowledgment of the connection that had blossomed between us.

We shared a quiet breakfast, the unspoken words of the night lingering in the air. The world outside seemed to hold its breath, as if it, too, was aware of the shift that had occurred in the quiet hours of the morning.

He came closer to wrap his arms around my waist and right at the moment doorbell rang. The doorbell interrupted our moment, and Jasper reluctantly released me. He gave me a reassuring smile before heading to the door. I remained in the kitchen, a slight nervousness building in my stomach.

"Hey bro" I heard a voice similar to Jasper. I padded out of kitchen and saw Jasper with his brother so identical to him. I wasn't surprised that I mistook him as Jasper, because these brothers were identical.

Only when I saw him closer that I realized the only difference they had was their eye color. His brother Nathanial looked excited to meet his brother but Jasper doesn't look so happy for intervention.
