After explaining To everyone that the doctor let me go yesterday. It is now early morning and I couldn't get comfortable due to being sore. Very sore.
But I'm not telling them that, Tony and Steve are already worrying like a bunch of mother hens. I peel the covers off of me walking to the bathroom and jump in the shower.
Thanking a nice long and much needed shower. Letting my mind wonder to the conversation Me and Steve had when I first woke from my accident.
"I love you. And I know this is all new and unfamiliar to you and you don't really know what that is because of how your family is. But I'm willing to be patient and wait until you figure that out with me." His words echoing in my mind
I shut off the water stepping out of the shower.

My parents rarely showed me what that was. I mean they did before we found out I was smarter than most kids. But I just can't remember a time when I was happy.

I told Bruce I was coming back to work. Because It beats sitting around and sure my wrist is still broken. but I have my other hand. And I promised to take it easy.
I get dressed after brushing my hair and teeth. I walked out of the room. My heels clicking on the floor as I enter the kitchen area on the Avengers floor.
I start the coffee. I see there is only one coffee cup left. I grumble under my breath since it's out of my reach even in heels. I stretch to reach the cup only for me to grumble more since it hurt like hell due to the cracked ribs.
Suddenly a arm reaches above me grabbing the cup.
"You're up early." I hear
I spin to see Steve.
"So are you." I say with a small smile
He returns it but behind that smile I can clearly see he's concerned.
"Steve I'm fine." I say taking the cup from him
"You sure because you always say that. Try to hide the facts that you're not really fine." He says
"I'm just a little sore but that's to be expected." I say filling the cup with coffee
"You sure you should be back to work so soon?" He asked
"Yes, Besides I will just drive myself mad if I don't." I say turning around.
I turn back around facing him again.
He cupped my face with his large hands.
"Just don't push yourself I would hate for you to get hurt any further." He says
Staring into those beautiful blue eyes.
"I won't I promise." I say
He nods
Stealing a kiss from me. A long passionate kiss. A kiss that almost made me dizzy.
We separate.
"I've been wanting to do that since you woke up." He says with a smile
I smile back at him.
"Me too." I say sheepishly
He takes my cup setting it on the counter.
"In that case." He says kissing me again
Picking me up by the back of my legs.
"I think we should take this somewhere else." He mumbles against my lips. I was too much in the moment to even care about anything else.
It's always like this. When I'm with him I let him take control. And it's a good feeling something I've never really experienced before.
And he fuels this fire inside of me and even though in the end I might end up getting burned and I still want the fire to burn bright as long as I am with him. And I don't ever want it going out.
