Harper POV
"What do you remember?" Tony asked in a concerning tone,
"Getting out of bed, doing some paperwork with Bruce, then nothing," I said
They looked at each other,
"What?" I asked
"I'll be back" Tony said
It was just me and Steve in the room at the moment,
He had this worried look on his face,
"I'm okay," I said looking at him,
He looked at me and smiled, sadly
"I know," He said sounding worried,
"Then what is it?" I asked
"I thought I lost you, and it made me realize something," He said
"What's that?" I said tilting my head,
"I love you, and I know this is all new and unfamiliar to you, and you don't really know what that is but I'm willing to be patient and wait until you figure it out with me," He said
He took my hand
"I just can't imagine losing you," He said
I smiled at him,
Tony POV
I was worried so I went to find a doctor,
I finally found him,
"Hey doc she's awake but she can't recall the accident," I said
He nodded and made our way to her room,
"I see we are awake," The doctor said
Harper nodded,
"How are we feeling?" He asked
"Sore," She said
"That's normal with the Trauma and surgery," The doctor said
Her eyes widen,
He was checking her eyes and inside her ears,
"Why can't I remember-" She began
"It seems you just have temporary memory loss," He said
"It will come back in time," He said
We all nodded,
"I am going to give you some medicine for the pain," He said putting the medicine in her IV
"It's going to make you sleepy but it'll help with the pain," He said
She nodded,
With that he left,
"Jeez kid you scared the hell out of us," I said sitting next to Steve,
"Tony when are you going to stop calling me kid, I'm an adult," She said chuckling weakly
"Hey I've known you since you were thirteen, so your a kid to me," He said
"Well I guess I shouldn't be best friends with such an old man," She said
which caused me and Steve to chuckle,
"We heard she's awake," I hear Nat,
I see all the avengers,
"I BROUGHT GIFTS!!" Thor boomed with arms full of stuffed animals,
we all chuckled
Just hope she's going to be okay, I thought
