I was in my room getting ready, I have the feeling Steve planned this, me and him going out on valentines day,
How did I agree to this, I thought,
I looked at myself in the mirror I had a pale white dress on, some dark tights and a light tan sweater,

I put some makeup on, some dark red lipstick,
I heard a knock on the door, I was in the lab bathroom getting changed because there was no way I was walking out of the room in Tony's pent house like this, He would ask a million questions,
I walked out of the bathroom, I see Steve,
"Am I over dressed?" I asked
"Not at all you look perfect," He said smiling, we walked out,
We got into one of the car's that are Tony's, Steve said he lets him borrow this car all the time,
"So where are we going?" I asked looking at him curiously since the sun was just starting to go down,
"You'll see it's a surprise," He said smiling at me,
After a semi long drive we arrive at a tall building, He gives the keys to the vale, and we walked in,
The host was waiting, once they seen us they perked up,
"Reservation for Rogers" Steve said
She nodded and good us to the top floor where it was on the roof, where it was just one table,
Rose petals everywhere, light candles, champagne and wine, it was beautiful, we sat down, no one has done anything to this extent for me, I thought

He pushed my chair in for me as I sat down,
"Thank you," I said
He smiled at me,
I arched my brow looking at him,
"Did you plan this?" I asked
He chuckled
"Maybe a little," He said
"What would you have done if I said no?" I asked a little surprised,
"I would be dining in this romantic atmosphere alone," He said chuckling
I also chuckled
"But I am glad you said yes," He said
I smiled
"Why did you ask me?" I said
He poured the wine in both of our glasses,
"Well because I sense you don't go out very much," He said
I smiled
"Yeah," I said
"And because of what happened, I wanted to get to know you better, and I wanted to get rid of the sadness behind your eyes," He said
I felt myself blush,
"You uh, saw that huh?" I asked
"How could anyone miss it," He said smiling at me,
And so it began, he talked to me about everything, how he joined the army with Bucky, how he got the super solider serum, when he got frozen, when he woke up, stories about the avengers, he told me what he was like before he went into the war and got the serum,
Needless to say Steve was very interesting, his stories intrigued me, after dinner and a few glasses of wine,
we walked through the city,
That's when we came to a pavilion where old music from Steve's time was playing, at the moment Elvis was playing, the song that was playing was when Steve was still in ice though,
"Do you want to dance?" He asked
I blushed,
"I uh, kinda don't know how," I said looking away,
"Your Tony's friend and you don't know how to dance," He said chuckling
"Well I was too busy to party," I mumbled
"Don't worry I'll teach you," He said
He grabbed my hand gently and lead us to a spot He put his large hand on my hip, He put my one hand on his shoulder while his other hand laced with my free hand,
I was tense at first,
"Relax," He whispered
I nodded
Eventually I did relax, Steve guided me, since I had no clue what I was doing,
"Your pretty light on your feet for someone who never danced before," He said chuckling
"Is that your way of telling me I'm not a bad dancer?" I asked
He chuckled again,
"I guess it is," He said smiling down at me,
"You always this romantic?" I asked
"Actually your the first I've decided to ask since the 40's" He said
"Oh," I said feeling embarrassed,
He chuckled again,
"If its any constellation, I've never really been with anyone, being so busy with school and work I never really had time," I said
He smiled down at me,
"You really are a remarkable woman you know that Harper," He said
I chuckled
"I'm too smart for my own good" I mumbled the music stopped
"There is nothing wrong with that," He said
He was still holding me close,
He was looking into my eyes with such passion, he finally let me go,
"I've go one last place I want to take you before we go back is that okay," He said tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear,
"Yeah," I said
After walking for a few blocks,
and we come to a park where they have some rides and games,
"Come on they are going to have fireworks I heard," He said smiling at me,
I nodded
We both got on the ferris wheel, We were going up until it stopped at the top and that's when the fireworks went off
Giant red hearts in the sky all different kind of colors went off, it was beautiful,
I laid my head on his shoulder,
"This was very smooth you know that," I said
"Mm, That was the Idea," He said
I couldn't help but feel at pure bliss with Steve, he made all my problems disappear, and I liked that, and I just hoped that there could be more moments like this, I thought as we watched the last of the fireworks, it was absolutely perfect,
