Ch. 29 "Awake"

                                                    Tony POV 

Me, Steve and the avengers were all standing there the doctor looked concerned. 

"Is she alright?" Steve asked worried 

"Well.." The doctor said 

"She had some severe internal bleeding but we were able to stop it. almost every rib on her left side was cracked she has a concussion a broken leg, a hairline fracture on her left hip bone, bruising on her left kidney and liver and a collapsed lung. we are going to have to keep a close eye on her due to the bleeding." The doctor said 

Everyone nodded 

"Can we see her?" Steve asked in a worried tone. 

"Yes, she's going to be feeling a little sluggish and tired due to the medicine we have her on and the blood loss." The doctor said 

"Thank you Doctor." I said 

The doctor nodded and walked away. 

We all walked into Harper's room. seeing that she had a oxygen tube under her nose, an IV in her arm a whole lot of bruising stitching, 

The rhyme of the heart monitor in the background, 

I sat down in one of the chairs, looking at my tablet at all the info Cody sent me. I look up to see Cap sit right next to her. 

I smirked 

Oh yeah, she's got him wrapped around her little finger. I thought as I looked back down at my tablet. 

                                              Steve POV 

I sat down next to Harper. I took her hand gently, 

I know the doctor pretty much said she's not out of the woods yet. I am beyond worried. 

Please Please be okay. I thought as I had my forehead pressed against the side of the hospital bed. 

                                      Harper POV 

I am dead. I'm dead. I thought as I was engulfed in darkness. 

Beep, Beep, Beep, 

I hear a steady rhyme, 

If I'm dead why is that annoying noise disturbing me?

My eyes feel glued shut. 

Come on, wake up, I thought trying so hard. 

"You want Coffee? I hear a familiar voice say. 

Is that Tony? I thought as I tried to open my eyes. 

Come on. I thought 

And finally I opened my eyes only to be blinded by the extremely bright lights. 

I slowly turned my head and opened my eyes again I see Tony in the doorway. making eye contact with him. 

His eyes widen. 

"Harper." He said rushing towards me

Everyone stood up realizing that I was awake. 

"How are you feeling?' Steve asked 

I looked around really confused not really sure what I was doing here. or how I got here.

"Everything alright?" Bucky asked 

"Where am I?" I asked 

Everyone looked at each other with worried looks
