"What?" Sigaw nang dalawa kong kaibigan kaya napatakip na lang ako sa tenga ko. I told them about what happened earlier after our calculus class at eto sila grabe makareact.
"Why didn't you pushed her away? May feelings ka pa rin ba sa kaniya?" Angel asked and even hold my shoulder. Malakas ang boses niya pero mabuti na lang ay nandito kami sa apartment ko. Wala na kasi kaming klase pagkatapos nang calculus kaya minabuti na lang namin tumambay muna rito.
"She was crying Angel. Hindi ko kayang itulak siya. For your information kiss lang yun sa gilid nang labi ko." I remembered a while ago kung paano ito magmakaawa at humingi ng patawad. She kissed me in the side of my lips and a question instilled in my mind after that incident. Her kiss doesn't feel so right but while Miss Cruz's kiss was very different and heart fluttering. Did I really moved on already from her? Bakit ang dali naman? Did I really love her kung ganon nga?
"Kaeth, don't complicate your lovelife anymore. Move on and cut her out in your life." Jinky said and chew the last piece of yema in the table. I sighed and laid down in my bed.
"I cannot cut her off in my life. We promised each other that if we will broke up then we will still remain friends." I replied at pinikit ang mga mata ko.
"Magclub na lang tayo mamaya to unwind." Yaya ni Jinky sa amin at agad akong napabangon. May pinapatrabaho pala si dad sa akin na kailangan kong ibigay mamaya sa may-ari nang club na he recently invested.
"Magclub tayo may alam ako. I'll be finishing something lang."
Kinuha ko na ang laptop ko dahil simula noong byernes ay wala na akong phone dahil nabasa ito kaya tinapon ko na lang.
I opened the email my dad sent me and read it thoroughly and I made changes from time to time about it. This is a marketing strategy na gustong ipabasa ni Dad sa may-ari at inutusan niya akong e polish ito.
I may not into business but somehow I know how it works dahil kailangan ko talagang matuto kung papaano dahil ako lang ang nag-iisang anak nang mga Mascarpa. My mom wanted me to pursue law school after my undergraduate studies but I am still thinking about it. Hindi naman nila ako pinipressure kaya okay lang din kung matagal akong makakapagbigay nang sagot sa kanila.
"This is lit." Angel said as we entered the club. Alas otso na nang gabi kaya pumunta na kami rito. I guided them to the VIP table na pinareserve ko kanina.
"Stay here girls, aakyat lang ako." I said and they nodded. Umakyat na ako sa hagdan dahil nasa second floor ang office nang may ari nito.
I knocked on the door and I heard a faint come in kaya pumasok na ako.
"Here is the papers Miss, pakibasa na lang po and if you have any feedback please do send it via email to my father." May ngiti kong sabi at linagay ang papeles sa ibabaw nang lamesa ni Miss Aron.
"No problem with that Miss Kaethrein." She smiled back. We had a little conversation about the weather and work but I excused myself since I have friends to entertain to.
Bumaba na ako sa hagdan at pumunta sa table namin but as I approached my friends may mga kasama na ito. My forehead creased because I didn't like what I am seeing.
"Hi Kaeth, nandito ka na pala. Hope you don't mind na makikishare muna kami nang table. All the VIP tables are already taken." Miss Luiz said at ginaya pa akong umupo sa tabi niya. I looked at my friends na tahimik lang na umiinom ng ice tea.
"Buti ang VIP table taken, ako kaya when?" Miss Marie asked herself. Kaya napailing na lang ako.
Why of all the day ngayon din nila na planuhan na mag club? I shook my head in disappointment. I bet we will not enjoy this. Umusog ako sa mga kaibigan ko para makausap naman sila.
"Are you two okay here?" I asked worriedly I don't want their first time in club to be not so fun.
"Okay lang kami Kaeth. Ang gara ng club na ito. Yung cr ang linis." Manghang-manghang sabi ni Angel kaya napatawa naman kami ni Jinky.
"But can you two enjoy tho na nandito ang mga professors natin?"
"Okay lang naman nasa labas naman tayo ng campus." Sagot ni Jinky kaya tumango-tango na lang ako.
I looked at the professors na nasa harapan ko. They are busy chatting with each other while drinking hard liquors. I wonder bakit wala si Miss Cruz. Pero mabuti narin iyon para hindi na ako mahirapan na iwasan siya.
I feel bad avoiding her but I needed to, in order to save us from heartaches in the future.
Sumasayaw na ang mga kasama ko sa dance floor dahil biglang hinigit ang mga kaibigan ko sa mga propesora namin. I shook my head with a smile in my face seeing them dancing and enjoying the beat.
I want to drink something cold kaya naman tumayo na ako para pumunta sa bar island.
"Hey, give me an ice tea please. No liquor please." She rolled her eyes upon hearing my last statement. Noong first order ko kasi kay Sarah ay linagyan lang naman niya ng alcohol ang ice tea ko.
"Masarap maglasing Rein." Rason niya a habang pinagtimpla niya ako ng ice tea.
"May ihahatid pa akong mga kaibigan kaya hindi na muna." Ngiti kong sagot na nagpairap sa kaniya.
"Excuses, sabihin mo na lang kasi na ayaw mong uminom." She said as she put my drink in the island and lightly tapped my cheeks.
"Stop bugging me you idiot. You are not that handsome and yes I can pay for my drink. I can even buy this place and banned you for life. Now, get out of my sight you imbecile." Nanggagalaitang saad ng boses na lubos na familiar sa akin. It is coming in the edge of the bar island at medyo dim doon kaya pasimple akong lumapit para makumpirma talaga.
I saw Miss Cruz struggling to get her hand from the man's grip kaya hindi na ako nagsayang ng oras at nakisawsaw na.
"If I were you Mister, I would let go of that hand before security will come and get you and never let you go." Mahina pero may diin kong sabi ng nakalapit ako sa kaniya. Nakatalikod ito sa akin kaya ibinulong ko iyon sa tenga niya.
Mukhang gumana naman dahil nakita kong unti-unti niyang binitawan ang kamay ni Miss at biglang humarap sa akin. Muntik pa kaming magkahalikan dahil doon.
"Who are you to interrupt my time with my girl? We had an argument kaya ganoon ang nasaksihan mo bata." Sabi niya pa at iniligay si Miss sa kaniyang likod. Dumukwang ako para makita si Miss and she is currently not herself. Too drunk I guess.
"She is my wife Mister, don't you dare declare something that is yours when in fact it isn't and bad thing ang akin pa talaga ang inaangkin mo." Matalim na sabi ko na nagpawala ng dugo niya sa mukha.
"Ew disgusting lesbians." Yun na lang ang nasabi niya bago ako masamang tignan at umalis narin siya. Agad kong dinaluhan si Miss dahil unti-unti na siyang babagsak sa pagkakaupo niya.
"Why are you drinking a lot Miss?" I asked when I saw a lot of bottles in her table. She looked up to me with a teary eyes. She caressed my cheeks and cry. Napakunot naman ang noo ko.
"Hey why are you crying?" I asked in a soft tone.
"Why can it be me K? I was even willing to court you but to see it myself." She scoffed "You didn't lie when you said you were in love with someone else." She said at winakli pa ang mga kamay ko na sumusuporta sa balikat niya. But she has no strength at all because of the liquor kaya napasubsob lang siya sa dibdib ko.
She lightly keep on punching my chest and mumbling words that I can't understand. After few minutes ay tinignan niya ako. She raised her hand and touched my lips.
"You kissed another girl, how cruel that I have to see it."
