"Stop it girls, we need to study." Saway ko sa kanila dahil kanina pa sila nagchichismis. Midterm week na namin ngayon kaya kailangan naming mag doble aral para naman hindi kami mawala sa dean's list. Kahit minsan ay wala kaming pakialam sa pag-aaral namin. 

They started doing their own thing. Isang sita ko lang sa kanila ay agad naman silang sumusunod. Para rin naman iyon sa kabutihaan namin. I am the youngest out of the three of us and yeah youngest out of all in our class. 

Tatlong oras din kaming nagreview dito sa library bago napagpasyahan na maglunch na muna. Papunta na kami sa Jollibee ng madaanan namin sila Miss Luiz.  Mukhang nagtatalo pa ang tatlo. 

"Hi mga Miss." Bati ng mga dalawa kong kaibigan. I only remained silent. I can see in my peripherial vision na nakatingin si Miss Cruz sa akin pero ang tingin ko ay naka fix lang sa harapan ko which is Miss Marie's face. 

"Hello girls." Replied by Miss Luiz.

"Saan po kayo pupunta Miss?" Jinky inquired kaya napabuntong hininga na lang ako. Kanina pa ako gutom kaya gusto ko na talagang kumain. 

"Maglalunch sana kami sa Jollibee but sadly walang nagdala ng wallet nila kaya kailangan naming bumalik ulit sa office." Sinamaan pa ng tingin ni Miss Luiz ang dalawa niyang kasama pero inirapan lang siya ng mga ito. 

"Wag na kayong bumalik doon Miss. Ang layo na noon, umutang na lang kayo kay Kaeth. Dahil papunta rin kami sa Jollibee" Saad ni Angel kaya lahat sila ay napatingin sa akin. Magiging sugar mommy pa ako nito. 

"Yes Miss, I'll pay. Let's go na po." Nauna na akong maglakad dahil gutom na gutom na talaga ako. 

Malapit lang ang Jollibee sa campus namin kaya limang minuto lang ay nakarating na agad kami. I opened the doors for them at ng makita ko ang nasa loob ang raming tao roon. Only the tables outside are available. Lumapit ako kay Jinky. 

"Jinks, flirt with the guy over there so that we can get their table." Nginuso ko ang table na kakaupo lang ng mga lalaki. Agad naman akong binatukan ni Jinky.

"Gaga ka, taken na kami ni Angel kaya ikaw na lang. Single ka naman." She pushed me away papunta roon sa lalaki. Maglalakad na sana ako para kausapin sila but a hand stopped me. 

"May tables sa labas, hindi na natin kailangan ang table niya." She said in a cold tone and made way to the exit dahil nasa labas doon ang mga tables. 

We settled down in the tables outside habang ang dalawa kong kaibigan ay palihim na nagrereklamo dahil sa wala dawng aircon sa labas at ang init. The table is circle kaya umupo na ako sa gilid ni Angel at si Jinky naman ay umupo sa kabilang gilid ni Angel. Miss Luiz was about to sit beside but she was slightly pushed away by Miss Cruz kaya naman umupo na lang ito sa tabi ni Miss Marie at si Miss Cruz ay umupo na sa tabi ko. 

"What do you all want? Ako na ang mag-oorder." Nagkaniya-kaniya naman sila ng order except Miss Cruz. 

"What do you want Miss?" I asked her ng matapos na ang iba sa pagsabi ng kanilang order. 

"I'll come with you." She stood up at hinala na ako. Pumila na agad kami pagkapasok namin. 

I looked at her at parang bad mood talaga siya today. her forehead is creased and she is staring the floor like the floor committed a crime against her.

"Miss, why are you in a bad mood?" I asked gently pero nag-aapoy na tingin ang ginawad niya sa akin. 

"You really want to flirt with a guy just to get a table?" She asked venomously kaya naman napalunok na lang ako sa laway ko. I awkwardly smile and scratched my neck. 

"Kakausapin lang naman Miss." Depensa ko pa pero inirapan niya lang ako at tinalikuran.

"Don't flirt with any guy just to get a table K, because I can buy this whole restaurant and give it to you." 

Napahilot na lang ako sa sentido ko. Kakatapos ko lang sa exam namin this afternoon. It was a surprised midterm exam by our prof buti na lang ay nakapagreview na ako nito. Easy lang din naman dahil minor na subject lang. Purposive communication specifically. 

"Perfecto." Mayabang na saad ni Jinky ng makalabas siya sa room kaya napangiti ako roon. Sunod naman na lumabas ay si Angel na nakabusangot ang mukha. 

"Ang layo ng inaral ko. Baka mabagsak ko ito." Malungkot niyang sabi. 

"If babagsak man tayo ngayon babawi naman tayo sa finals. Diba?" I cheered her up kaya ngumiti siya ng konti. 

Naglakad na kami papalabas dahil uuwi na kami. We are drained today kaya gusto na naming magpahinga. Bukas ay exam na namin sa Calculus. I kept on studying it dahil hindi naman talaga ako matalino. 

"Bye girls." paalam ko sa kanila at umiba na ng daan. I hailed a cab dahil mainit ang panahon ngayon at wala ako sa mood na magjeep. 

Pumasok na ako sa taxi at sinabi ang address ko. I was absent minded during the whole trip kaya hindi ko namalayan na nasa harapan na ng apartment building ko ang sasakyan.

I pulled out a cash para makapagbayad na at lumabas. 

Pumasok na ako sa apartment ko dahil magrereview pa ako mamaya. I lay down first in the bed to take a rest for a while. I am drained today dahil narin sa maraming ginawa at gagawin ko pa. Matapos kong makapagpahinga ay linabas ko na ang laptop ko because I need to study again. 

"Ang hirap naman." I kept on tapping my head dahil wala na talaga akong maintindihan sa pinag-aaralan ko. A knock interrupted my peace kaya naman busangot akong tumayo.

I opened the door and it revealed the one and only professor that I know na pumupunta sa apartment ng isang estudyante specifically to my apartment. 

"What are you doing here Miss?" I asked as I scratched my head. She put both of her hands to her sides and looked at me lazily.

"Really K? That question? Of course I am here to visit you." She said in a duh tone. 

Pinapasok ko na siya sa apartment ko at muli akong bumalik sa pwesto ko para ipagpatuloy ang pag-aaral. I was squatting on the carpeted floor kaya naman tumabi ito siya sa akin. She rested her head to my shoulder and watched me doing my stuff. 

I am computing an equation it is about an implicit of a function at kailangan ko pang e prove yung ibang formulas pagkatapos ko rito. I sighed when I was having a hard time in figuring out the equation.

"Do you want help?" She asked as she saw me struggling but I shook my head. That would be unfair to my blockmates na may special lesson ako kay Miss. 

"No Miss that would be unfair." I answered and searched for a lecture video in Khan Academy.

"Clearly you need my help." She said it in a strict voice.

"Doesn't mean I'll accept your offer. I wanted to be fair." I rebut and she rolled her eyes because of my rational response. 

"You know that implicit of x^2+y^2=9 or any implicit can be related in Math for some way." She looked at the equation in my paper before looking at me.

Inside this circle, love can flourish, and both individuals can feel safe and connected." Mahaba niyang eksplenasyon, napangiti naman ako roon. She is really showing her smart brain to me now. 

"I hope we will be the x and y of that equation that we don't need to be isolated from each other in order to solve a problem." She continued and hold my hand and brought it in her lips and kissed it.

"Please do promise that we will solve a problem together."
