Hindi natuloy ang lunch namin ni Miss sa kadahilanan ay tumawag yung kasing edad kong pamangkin. She got lost in Colon kaya kailangan kong hanapin dahil umiiyak na tumawag sa akin. I just sent an email to Miss dahil wala naman akong ibang contact sa kaniya. Hapon na ngayon ng araw at nahatid ko narin ang pamangkin ko sa dorm nila and I am here in my apartment nagtatrabaho.

Wala namang masiyadong ganap, halos lahat ng mga kaibigan ko ay busy dahil midterm exams nila at nasa ibang university sila kaya naman hindi talaga kami palaging gumagala pero kapag gagala naman para kaming nakalabas ng mental hospital. I miss them.

Living alone is okay but it gets lonely sometimes.

Nang matapos ako sa trabaho ko ay nagpalit na ako ng damit. I will go out dahil nabuburyo na ako rito. I booked a cab para makapunta na sa SM seaside doon na lang din ako kakain. I am craving my favorite ice cream rin kasi at doon lang sa SM seaside ang alam kong may store sila.

Nakahoodie ako at jogger dahil maginaw narin sa labas. I went outside nang manotify ako na nasa baba na ang taxi na na book ko. Sumakay na agad ako nang makita ko ito. The destination is just near kaya mga 20 minutes ay nakarating agad ako.

SM Seaside is way bigger than SM Cebu City at may sky park pa ang SM Seaside.

Naglibot libot muna ako.

I entered the NBS nang madaanan ko ito. Wala namang mga nakakuha ng interes ko sa mga libro doon ay umakyat ako next floor at pumuntang fully booked. As I stroll around para maghanap nang bibilhing libro ay nahagip ng mga mata ko ang isang pamilyar na hubog ng katawan. She is with a man. Nakakapit pa ang lalaki sa kaniyang bewang. Mukhang jowa. The way the man holds her ay parang napakapossessive.

Umalis na ako roon baka makita pa niya ako. I went to my favorite ice cream shop which is the ala mode. I bought a smores at dinala ko na ito sa sky park. I sat down in the artificial grass and I looked at the dark clouds just in front of me. The sight is calming.

I went back home after ko makapagdinner doon. I opened my apartment and I saw how messy it is. Hindi na ako nagulat na nandito ang dalawa kong pamangkin. Daughter of my cousins.

"You are here." I said para mapukaw ang atensyon nila na nasa tv lang. Nagkalat ang mga chips at iba't ibang inumin sa carpeted floor pa nga. I gave them duplicates of my key kaya malaya silang nakakapasok dito.

"Yes, I went here in Cebu just to catch up with Maya but Maya told me that we will just meet here but when we came here you are not to be found." Talak pa nga ni Uno. Siya ang pinakamaingay sa grupo namin at si Maya naman ang pinakatahimik. I looked at Maya who was just busy watching game of thrones in the tv.

"Yeah buti hindi kayo naligaw." I glanced again at Maya this time I got her attention.

"Bakit maliligaw when there's taxi everywhere and your apartment is well known kaya madaling matunton." Uno replied while munching some chips.

"Maya got lost kanina." I said with a teasing tone that earned a groan from Maya. Uno laughed at her and keep on teasing her about it.

My night was filled of laughter because of them. They went home tonight because Uno needs to sleep at her grandfather's house in Lapu-Lapu and Maya needs to go to Mambaling in her apartment because she has a test tomorrow. I am left alone in the apartment in a mess. I wonder why Uno's here tho. Wala siyang nabanggit kanina bakit siya pumunta rito except that she wants to catch up with Maya. I don't buy her excuse.

Morning came and since hindi ako tinatamad ngayon ay napagdesisyonan kong mag work out. I allotted one hour for workout and after that I cooked my breakfast. Not really cooked but prepared since hindi naman ako masiyadong marunong magluto. I prepared a tuna sandwich and a juice. Mamaya lalabas ako para kakain dahil tinatamad akong tumambay dito. It's Friday kaya wala akong pasok. Magt-timezone na lang ako mamaya after lunch dahil ilang weeks narin akong walang gala roon. I need to earn a lot of tickets para mabili ang bola na gusto ko. I smiled bitterly when some thought passed in my mind. Iwinakli ko ito dahil masiyado pang maaga para magdrama.

After I ate I also did my work and some studying. Alas dose na nang matapos ako kaya agad na akong bumaba at pumunta sa parking lot. I quickly uncover my ride. It's a black Nmax nothing to brag about. Sumakay na ako at pinaandar ito. Bumusina ako sa guard at kumaway naman ito sa akin. The apartment is a gated compound kaya may dalawang guard dahil may dalawang gate ito.

The city's air never impresses me dahil madadamdam mo talaga na polluted ang hangin dito unlike sa probinsya na ang sarap e roadtrip doon dahil sa preskong hangin.

Dahil malapit lang naman ang IT Park sa apartment ay agad rin akong nakarating sa Ayala Central Bloc. I parked my car in the basement at pumunta na muna ako sa isang Samgyup restaurant. I will be paying more than the usual rate since mag-isa lang ako. That's their policy. Papunta na ako sa 3rd floor pero huminto na muna ako sa ATM machine. Wala na pala akong cash. I withdrew some money and went to the third floor where my usual go to samgyup resto is located.

Pagkalapit ko sa restaurant ay puno ang table at may waiting pa. I peeked at may reserved table doon. Jeez sana pala nagpareserve ako ng table before I went here. Ayaw ko naman maghintay dahil nagugutom na ako. I turned my back but as I did ay mukha ng tatlong propesora ng DMS ang bumungad sa akin.

Nakilala agad ako ni Miss Luiz, she was my STL professor and right now she's with Miss Marie and surprisingly Miss Cruz.

"Miss Alba you are here!" Miss Luiz exclaimed and I smiled shyly. I don't know what to do. It is very awkward to see them in public places like this.

"Good noon professors." Tangi kong saad. I only looked at Miss Luiz dahil siya lang naman ang tumawag sa akin but I can feel the other two professors' eyes are on me.

"Good to see you here Kaethrein."

"Good to see you here too Miss and yeah you three. I'll get going now Profs." Paalis na sana ako but a hand grabbed me that made me stopped midway.

I looked at the owner of that hand only to see Miss Luiz's hand. I raised my brow to ask what does she need.

"Miss?"

"Where are you going? We thought you are going to eat here?" She asked and pointed the restaurant.

"I was about to Miss but as you can see they are fully packed today so I'll just go somewhere else." I explained Kahit hindi naman kailangan.

"Oh dear, good that we have reserved a table for five but the two will not be coming so you can join us." Si Miss Marie na ngayon ang nagsalita. Napangiwi ako roon. I don't want to have lunch with them. Ang awkward kaya non. What if tanungin ako ni Miss Luiz kung ano ang natutunan ko sa subject niya baka sagutin ko lang siya nang natulog lang ako Miss.

"No need maam, I don't want to bother you three in your lunch date." Pagreject ko sa offer nila.

"You will not be a bother sweetie, now come with us inside." And I just found myself being dragged by my STL professor. I hope hindi ko ito pagsisihan. I had a glimpse of Miss Cruz and I saw irritation written in her face. Maybe totally bad mood because I am with them. Pero hindi ko na kasalanan iyon yung mga amega niya ang nagdrag sa akin dito.

Miss Luiz made me seat beside Miss Cruz and the three of them were chitchatting about something habang hinhintay namin ang crew na matapos sa paghahanda sa table namin.

I looked at the person beside me and coincidence it is because she's looking at me too. I smiled apologetically.

"I'm sorry for intervening in your friends' date." I mouthed and I think she understood it since she just nods and carefully gave my hand a squeeze. Her hand stayed for quite a couple of seconds before she let go. Her hands were soft that I wanted just to grab it and exchanged my hand onto it.

She continued chatting with her friends and I remained silent beside. It's better to be silent in order not to be seen by them baka sa akin pa mapunta ang usapan.
