"Addy?" Tim says he was confused as to why his rookie was on his front door step at almost midnight. He took her appearance her hair was a mess, her face tear streaked, her lip busted, and she looked freezing in nothing but a tank top, and shorts.

He couldn't help but feel his heart sink to his stomach. Did someone do this to her? Was she jumped? So many questions ran through his head as he thought about different scenarios. Tim stepped aside gently guiding Addy in the house.

"Are you alright? What the hell happened to you?" His voice was angry not at her but at the situation. Addy sighed as she let out sob, she hated feeling vulnerable but the anxiety and what had happened to her was eating her alive.

Tim guided her over to the couch and helped her sit down. He watched as she took a few deep breaths before her brown eyes met his.

"Austin" her voice hoarse as she looked down to her lap. She didn't want to say anything but, she was afraid this relationship would only end up with her getting killed.

Tim cracked his knuckles as he took in her boyfriends name.

"Your boyfriend did this?" He asked her. He was so angry that the vein in his forehead was ready to burst. How could someone lay a hand on any woman, especially Addy.

"What happened? I want to hear everything" he tells her. She looked up at him with a nod "He's been angry lately. Drinking more, today he was so mad I didn't answer the phone. He threw the bottle of beer every where. He choked me, he hit me, called me names" her eyes started to water up as she replayed it back in her head.

"How long? Has he been doing this" he felt guilty because he suspected something but never said anything to her.

"Since I started working for the LAPD. He's always been jealous but it's gotten worse" she tells him. Tim felt his blood boil as he had gotten many angry thoughts of hurting Austin in his head. Someone hurt Addy and it didn't sit right with him.

Tim stands up getting water, a cloth, and sweatpants from his draw. He walks over to and sits down on the couch Infront of her. He dabs the cloth over her lip as she flinches. Addy couldn't help but look at him as he helped her. This wasn't the hard Tim that she saw at work. This was someone who cared about her but, she figured he cared about her because she was his partner.

Tim looked down at her arm seeing the diabetes pod gone "Where's your pod?" He asks her. She lets out a dry humorous laugh "must've fallen off when he hit me" she says.
