Chapter Forty-Seven
The Collar**
Addy was now 7 months pregnant. Two more months until her baby girl was here. With that being said. No preparations have been done. The spare bedroom was still completely empty. Addy had bought a few clothes here and there. They both had no time to start the nursery yet, or even buy anything. So the stress level was starting to rise.
Addison was slowing down at work. She has started to become more fatigued, her ankles were swollen, and her bladder was the size of a walnut. She wasn't her usual self at work, and many of her colleagues have taken notice. So, maternity leave was right around the corner for her.
Tim was actively working as Sergeant on duty but, was trying his best to be with Addison as much as he could. He had temporarily assigned Addy as his 'Gofer' to be there for her and keep an eye on her.
Today at the station Lucy was riding along with both Tim and Addy as Thorsen was assigned with Angela and Nyla.
Addy sits in the front seat as Tim is driving, with Lucy in the back. Lucy leans forward "So how's life going?" She asks. Addy laughs and gestures to her stomach "You know same old, growing a human inside of me, and peeing every five minutes" she says with a smile.
Lucy laughs "Have you finished the nursery yet?" She asks them. Tim shakes his head "I have not even started. We've both been so busy" he says with a sigh. He knew time was ticking, and he made a mental note to ask Nolan for help.
"How are you and Chris?" Addy asks. Lucy sighs "We're good, but this morning he sprang moving in with each other. He wants to buy a house" she explains with clear annoyance lacing in her tone. Addy knew that Chris and Lucy were only dating for a few months now, so it was still relatively new for her.
Tim interjects "If you guys are happy, then those are the obvious next steps" Tim points out. Addy opens her mouth to protest but a call interrupts them "7-Adam-100, I have an in-progress vandalism on West 3rd south of Olympic." Dispatch says.
Tim picks up the radio and flips on the shop's sirens "Yeah. Show us responding."

They had arrived at the address which was a married couple's home. A disturbance and vandalism was the code for their stop. Addy gets out of the car and see's the woman holding a golf club aiming it at her partners Corvette.
He waves his arms out "No, no, no, no! Not the Corvette!" He shouts at her. His arms stretched out in attempts to stop her from going any further. The woman who's named was Kristina rolls her eyes at him "You should've thought of that before you flirted with that whore!" She yells at him.
