** Today is Mother's Day, Addy was now 5 months pregnant, and at any given moment her baby girl would start kicking. She couldn't wait to feel the kicks of her baby girl. Addy was going through multiple symptoms in her pregnancy so far. Intense cravings, moodiness, and her boobs were starting to ache, and swell.
Addy had decided to take a personal day today, she wanted to take her to mother out for brunch, and have a day to her self.
Addy stands in front of the mirror dressed in a cream colored dress, that hugged her growing bump. On top of the dress she wore an oversized jean jacket, and some strap heals. Her hair was down and curly, and her makeup kept simple.
She walks out of her bedroom and sees Tim walking through the door with a beautiful bouquet of tulips, and a small gift box.
Addy smiles widely as he enters the kitchen. He hands her the vase "Happy first Mother's Day baby" he says to her. Addy looks down at the beautiful multi colored tulips. She places them down on the counter.
"Thank you" she says and leans up to peck his lips. She pulls away and looks down a the velvet gift box.
He hands it to her and watches as she opens the box up. Addy gasps when she sees the jewelry inside the box. Tim had bought her a beautiful gold Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet.
"Oh my goodness Tim, this is so beautiful" she says to him. Taking the gold bracelet out of the box. He sighs in relief that she likes it as it was an expensive gift he bought her. But, he wanted to make her first Mothers Day special.
"I'm glad you like it" he says helping her clasp the bracelet on her wrist. Addy was in awe as she looks down at the beautiful present. She had seen the bracelet multiple times online but would never buy it for her self because of how it expensive it was. She couldn't believe Tim bought it for her.
"I love you" she says leaning up to peck his lips again. Tim sighs into the kiss and wraps his arms around her lower waist. Addy pulls away after a moment "I will see you later, I'm off to brunch with my mom" she says.
Tim nods his head "I love you, have fun"
** Addy and her mom had decided to go to a beautiful outdoor restaurant. Her mother had picked it out. Addy hadn't seen her mom in a few months. She was constantly busy at the station, and her mother worked long hours at the hospital.
"How is the morning sickness?" Her mother asks. Addy sighs as she takes a sip of her iced coffee "It's starting to get better, I have an appointment next week to see what my blood sugar levels are." She says looking over at her Omnipod that was on her arm.
