When the next day rolled around Addison was not looking forward to being at the station. Today, she found out it was the Rosalind Dyer trial. The day that she dreaded. She had only hoped that they were called to their undercover work.

Addy sat down in the briefing on the side of Tim as they listened to Sergeant Grey "All right, settle down and listen up. We got a big day ahead of us. The Rosalind Dyer trial is going to complicate all of our lives. But before that, Chief Coleman has some good news. Chief." He announces as Chief Coleman walks into the room.

Chief Coleman walks up to the podium "Thank you, Sergeant. I'm sure you're all aware of Officer Nolan's heroic stand down at the border which landed a dozen dangerous felons in custody. In light of your courageous and exemplary service, I've decided to offer you any assignment in the LAPD. Any unit, any division, any position you want the department to train you for is yours. It's what we unofficially call the Golden Ticket." She says as everyone erupts into applause. Addy smiled widely as she becomes proud of her friend.

John smiles "Thank you, Ma'am." He says. She nods her head "It's a big decision. Don't rush it." She points out.  He nods his head "I won't." He says. Chief Coleman smiles before dismissing herself.

Sergeant Grey nods his head "Congratulations, Officer Nolan." He says.

Smitty looks over with a smug look on his face "Don't waste your ticket by becoming a detective, Nolan. You know how hard they have to work? Go with recruiting. You get paid to fly around the country and talk up the LAPD." He says biting a piece of his licorice.

John looks over before looking at Tim "Boring. You go with air support. The city will pay for flight school, and you'll always have a backup career." He points out with a scoff.

Addy shakes her head no "K-9 is the way to go. Overtime is $200 an hour, and you get to keep the dog." She says taking a sip of her coffee.

Nolan looks over at Grey "Or I could use the ticket to get back on track for becoming a training officer this year." He says with a smile.

Everyone starts to laugh "That's funny." Grey says. Jake or Dims phone starts to ring interrupting their conversation. Addison sighs in relief  "Sorry. Jake's phone. It's Hajek." He says looking at Addison and Angela. They both get up and leave the room.

They get to the interrogation room before Tim answers the phone. He places the phone on the table, putting it on speaker so everyone can hear.
