All of Addison's life she was told to 'never take life for granted'. Every-time she heard that line she knew that she had to live life and not worry about fear. Addison got into Harvard right out of high school, she got into surfing, and eventually became a cop. She loved life and was great ful for each day she got.

But that was tested when Addison was admitted to the hospital. After an intense surgery, and treating wounds. Addison remained asleep for 3 days. And during those 3 days Tim stayed by her side hoping she would wake up.

Tim never stopped repeating the image he saw of his dying girlfriend. From seeing her get shot to, holding her in his arms until the very minute the nurse pried her away from him.

Tim had met with the doctor who was treating Addison's wounds. He was pulled away into the hallway.

"What's the update on Addison?" He asks the doctor. The doctor looks at Tim with a sorrowful look. He briefly reads the chart from the lab work.

Tim senses something was wrong as he read the body language from the doctor shift.

"Addison has suffered many injuries then we thought. She has severe bruising, some fractured ribs, we stitched up her gun shot wound" he starts to explain before his gaze softens. "Addison had also miscarried. The stress and beating she endured caused the loss of her fetus" Tim looks at the doctor as he processes what he had been told.

Addy was pregnant? With his baby? And they had lost it. Tim had never wanted kids, his past with Isabel had changed his view on starting a family. But hearing the loss of his unborn baby, caused a rage of sadness.

"When is she going to wake up?" Tim asks. The doctor looks over at Addison before turning his head back to Tim.

"Any time now. I will warn you. Addison went through a tremendous amount of pain both physically and mentally. The next few months will be challenging". He explains.

Tim nodded his head he knew that Addison needed time to grieve Jackson, their unborn baby, and everything she had endured.

"Of course, thank you doctor" Tim says watching him leave the room. After that conversation Tim still didn't leave Addison's side until the minute her eyes opened.

He starts to feel shifting in bed as he turns his attention "Baby, you're awake" Tim looks over at Addison he immediately stand up and leans over her. Addison looks around as she sighs In relief. She notices the familiar room of the hospital. Meaning that she was saved.
