A full 24 hours had went by since the amniocentesis was done. Addison was officially off of bed rest and just awaiting for her results to be read. Addy did not want to be bothered by Tim. She continued to ignore him during the 24 hours. Lucy had made sure she had everything she possibly needed the day before. She was still upset about their fight and didn't bother with asking him to come to the appointment with her this morning. She was nervous to be alone, and figure out if the baby was okay considering she still hadn't felt the baby move yet.
Addy lays on the hospital bed as she waits for the doctor to come in with the results. She had tried her best to read the nurses facial expression when she did an ultra sound. But, the nurse was very blank and unable to read. The doctor knocks on the door before entering the room. She has a smile on her face which caused Addy to relax.
"Everything went smoothly Addison, your baby girl is very healthy, and growing appropriately. I would like to continue to monitor you every 4 weeks to make sure your blood sugar levels are appropriate. But, everything is great!" She explains. Addy smiles widely as her eyes become watery.
"Thank you, when will i feel her kick again?" She asks as her hand subconsciously went to her stomach. The doctor waves her hand "That is completely normal. You should feel the baby start to kick again, anytime. I wouldn't worry about it" she explains. Addy nods her head and takes the ultra sound picture from the doctor.
"Thank you Doctor Parker. I'll see you soon" she says getting up from the bed. She grabs her phone and snaps a picture of the ultra sound sending it to Tim.
'Your baby is okay..' she types out before sending. She grabs her belongings and leaves the hospital.

Addy had stopped at her favorite cafe before going to the station. She needed a pick me up considering how eventful the last 2 days were. She walks inside and see's Wesley at the counter ordering. He looks over at her "Addy! It's so nice to see you. You look great!" He says to her as he adds her coffee order to his tab.
Addy smiles "Thanks Wes, I feel huge" she jokes as she wraps her jacket around her stomach. Wesley opens his mouth to speak but was interrupted "Damn. He's taking the last one?" A voice says from behind the pair. Addy and Wesley turn around as they see Elijah Stone and his men "Hello, Wesley" before looking at Addy "Hello Detective Manning" he greets.
Wesley looks unamused "Elijah. What, you following me?" He asks. Elijah laughs "Well, I heard you come here every morning." He says "Well, the best scone in town." Wesley says. Addy eyes Elijah as he speaks "You know, I never would have guessed from your sad, little office or that beater that you drive that you're old-money rich. What's it like having generational wealth?" He asks him. Wesley shrugs "I don't care about money. I care about justice, the rule of law" he explains.
