** Another two weeks have gone by, and during those two weeks Addison had gone through a whirlwind of emotions. She was happy one minute, then sad the next. Addison started to notice the physical changes her body went through.
She felt her face was becoming fuller, and if you really paid attention a slight curve could be seen on her stomach. These changes so far made Addy feel happiness because she was given a second chance.
Addison decided to take a personal day today. She hadn't gotten much sleep, and needed a day of mental relaxation. She just wanted to stay dressed in lounge pants, and catch up on her favorite show.
Tim on the other hand had made efforts to talk to Addy at work but, had noticed the last few weeks she seemed to be avoiding him. They barely even spoke at work. Addy would send Angela out to talk Tim if it was about a case. So, when he didn't see her walk through the briefing room he knew something was going on, and he was going to find out.
** The sound of Addison's comfort show could be heard throughout the living room. No matter how many times Addison watched Grey's Anatomy she would still act surprised when things happened.
The door bell rang causing Sadie to run to the door and start barking. Addy looks over at the door confused who could be at her home? She didn't order any food. Everyone was on patrol.
Sighing she gets up and walks over to the window. She looks outside and immediately gets away from the area.
"What the hell? What is Tim doing here?" She says in a low voice. She sees his shop parked outside.
Knocking is continuing on the door "Addison! I know you're in there. Open the door. We need to talk" Tim says. Addy sighs she couldn't ignore the knocking because if she didn't answer he would probably break the door down.
She reaches over and grabs the door knob as she slowly starts to open the door. Addison opens the door a crack, where only her head was visible.
Tim is standing on the other side dressed in patrol uniform. He looks relieved to see that she was okay.
"Addy? Can I come in?" He asks. his tone was soft and she could notice his body camera was missing. Addy hesitates but nods her head. She steps aside and lets him in.
Sadie immediately jumps onto Tim as her tail starts wagging crazily. Tim reaches down and gives the dog a pet "Someone is excited to see me" he says.
Addy nods and pulls her cardigan closer to her body, she was only wearing a tank top. She walks over to the kitchen "Do you want something to drink?" She asks. He stands up and shakes his head no.
He looks around and could see that Addison was relaxing before he came in.
He sighs and follows her to the couch. He sits on the side of her. In this moment the anxiety was felt in the room for the both of them. Both, Tim and Addy were anxious for different reasons.
Tim looks at Addison and noticed how beautiful she looked. No makeup was on her face, her hair was down and wavy. And oh, how he missed her soft plump lips.
She clears her throat "Why are you here?" She asks. He looks at her and nods "Right.." he starts off with a sigh before he continues. "Listen Addison, I'm so sorry I over reacted about you being a detective. When I should've been happy for you. Truth is I was scared of losing you like I did with Isabel. But, now I can't imagine not being with you anymore. I love you so much, I truly am happy for you being a detective. Angela tells me you're thriving as a detective, and I should've been supportive from the start" he says to her.
He watches as she processes what he says. She nods her head slowly. Did she forgive Tim? Yes, why? Because she loved him with her whole heart, and couldn't be without him.
"I forgive you Tim, I'm sorry for not telling you sooner. I should've talked to you about it" she says. Tim nods his head feeling an immediate relief that she forgave him.
He leans closer to her slightly "Are we able to try this again?" Addy looks up at him, her eyes meeting his. She nods her head "Yes Tim, I'd love that." She says.
Tim smiles and pulls her into a hug as they both relaxed into each other. Addy starts to cry as she was relieved to have him back, but now she was scared about what she had to tell him.
Tim hears her crying, and pulls away looking confused and concerned.
"Addy, what's wrong?" He asks , he was confused she literally had tears running down her face and he didn't know why.
Addy lets out a shaky breath as she calms down "I need to tell you something" she says. She gets up and walks into the bathroom.
Tim stays sitting on the couch confused. She was only gone for a second as he watches as she comes back her hands covered as she was hiding something. Tim begins to feel nervous he hoped she was okay.
She sits down on the couch and looks over at him "I'm pregnant" she says handing him the positive pregnancy test. She watches as Tim doesn't say anything as his gaze shifts from the positive test to her flat stomach.
He grasps the plastic test in his hand "You know I peed on that right?" She says to him. Tim looks up at her and pulls her into a hug. Addison begins to cry again "Are you mad?" She asks although it sounded muffled because she was in his chest.
Tim pulls away. Was he mad? No, was he scared? Yes. But, he was going to be the best father, and he was going to be there for Addison.
"No, of course I'm not mad. Am I scared? Yes which is normal. But, we will do this together. We're going to make a great team" he says to her.
He could see Addy visibly relax as she was happy with his answer. Tim smiles as they both lean into each other. Addison's lips press onto his. Tim sighs into the kiss his arms wrapping around her body pulling her closer to him. The two of them missing the way they touched each other.
The two of them pull away "I love you, Addy" he says to her. Addy smiles "I love you too, Tim" she says.
Tim looks down at her flat stomach and reaches his hand out. His palm pressing against her abdomen "We're going to do this together" he says to her.
Addy nods her head and leans onto Tim as he holds her "Do you have to go back? Can you stay here?" She asks him.
He looks down at her and smirks "Of course I'm staying here. I have to help you pack your things. You're moving back home" he says causing her to laugh.
