** A month had went by, and during that time Addy, Lucy, and Jackson were officially P2's, meaning they were no longer rookies. Leaving Officer Nolan alone extended in the T.O program as discipline. During that time Addy's friendship had grown stronger with her co workers. Jackson, and Lucy had hung out with Addy all the time after shift. But Addy and Jackson shared a special bond together as they both treated each other as siblings. She didn't know what she would do without him.
Tim was taking a personal day today as he felt like he needed a mental break. He promised to take care of Sadie, while also planning a special dinner for Addy since she finished training. Addy and Tim were in the flirty stage of their relationship. Where all they would do is flirt with each other and have sex behind closed doors.
Addison had arrived at the station she was seated in the second row besides an overly excited Jackson and Lucy.
Sergeant Grey had walked in and began briefing the officers. Nothing that was entirely important. But, Addy and Jackson were super excited to ride together.
** Addison sat in the drivings seat as they started their shift together. Jackson was smiling at his phone as he read another message.
"What? Another congratulations text?" Addy asked. Jackson looked over and nodded "They're all taking me to dinner at Pacific Dining Car for baseball steaks tonight. Wanna come?" He asks his best-friend.
Addy shook her head "No, that's okay I might have plans tonight" she says. Jackson raises an eyebrow as he knew she was seeing someone but never specified who.
"So, you've been dating for a few months and I haven't met the guy. Who is he?" He asks her. Addy looks over at him briefly. It wasn't that she didn't trust Jackson she was just scared to tell him.
After debating with her self she knew he would keep it a secret "If I tell you, you promise you won't say a word to anyone?" She tells him.
He nods "Of course you know I would never" he says. Addy nods before letting out a sigh "It's Tim" she says in a low voice. Jackson snaps his neck to face Addy "Tim? As in Bradford? As in Your T.O" he asks his mouth forming an O shape.
Addy nods "Yeah" she says turning the AC on. Jackson nods with a huge smile "Damn enemies turned into lovers. That's cute" he tells her.
"He's great Jackson, I love him a lot" she says realizing what she had said. Did she love Tim? She was a 100 percent sure.
"So spill the details.." Jackson says.
** Addy and Jackson were dispatched to a disturbance call at the downtown bridal shop. According to dispatch two women were fighting over the same bridal gown.
Addy and Jackson walked into together and immediately spotted Tim and Angela. Addy smiled at Angela as she was dressed in a beautiful wedding gown.
She turned her attention back to the two women fighting "Ladies settle down" Jackson says as he attempted to calm the arguing down.
The women ignored Jackson and threw her glass of water at him. Tim stifled a laugh as they both watched their two rookies attempt to deescalate the situation. Addy groaned and grabbed the woman and pulled her apart from the fighting.
"Enough" she yells grabbing her handcuffs she looks over at Tim "I got this under control" she smirks.
** End of shift approached Addy, and Jackson had a good shift together and they were both excited to be riding together as partners for the time being. They enjoyed every minute of from controlling the air conditioner in the shop, to picking a lunch destination.
"Have fun tonight" Jackson says with a wink. The two were walking to their cars. Addy laughs as she bids a farewell before getting into her car.
Once she gets to Tim's house she immediately smells the delicious aroma of pasta sauce. A huge smile formed on her face as she enters the kitchen. Tim was cooking one of Addy's favorite dishes, and a beautiful bouquet of roses sat on the counter.
"Smells good" she says gaining Tim's attention. He turns around and smiles "It's almost ready, get in the shower, and we can eat" she nods her head and pecks his lips.
Addy quickly showers as she gets dressed into some shorts, and a tank top leaving her hair wet. Tim had the table set with their plates and two glasses of wine.
"Thank you" she says, she sits down and immediately digs into the food.
"How was your day?" He asks her "it was good I'm paired with Jackson. Which is a lot of fun" she tells him. Tim was aware of the friendship between her and Jackson. He was happy she was making friends. The two seemed to bond really well.
"Thats good, you've been spending a lot of time with him" he says to her. Addy nods "Yeah, we're like best-friends. I told him about us" she tells him.
Tim's eyes widen "Wait what?" He asks immediately feeling a sense of anxiety. Addy nods reassuring him "Yeah it's okay, he won't say anything trust me we've told each other worse. He's been dying to know who I've been seeing especially since he just got with his boyfriend" she says to him.
Tim nodded his head feeling relieved "Okay I trust him. Angela has officially appointed me as her man of honor" he tells her.
Addy laughs as she figured that was why he was at the bridal shop with Angela "That's cute, her dress looked beautiful" she says.
Addy and him both finish dinner as they sat together on the couch watching a movie. Addy cuddled up against Tim as he wrapped his arm around her. Sadie was lying down on the couch with her eyes closed.
Addy looked up at Tim as she admired every inch of his face. From the subtle beard on his face, to the crinkles near his eyes. She loved him so much. Tim looks down at her sensing that she was staring.
"What?" He asks. Addy eyes his lips before meeting his eyes "I love you, Tim" she tells him. Tim freezes for a moment processing the words she had just said.
He loved everything about her and wouldn't deny his love for Addy. The love he had for Addy wasn't comparable. He couldn't remember the last time he was this happy "I love you too Addison" he tells her.
Addy smiles in relief and leans up to peck his lips. Tim smiles into the kiss and pulls her into his lap. His hands trailing down her back resting on her ass.
She pulls apart slightly panting as she regains her breath "Well what are you waiting for? take me upstairs" she says.
Finally an update. I also love Jackson and Addy's bond. How do you like this chapter???
