Addy was confused Tim had all of sudden started to act weird around her. He would be short, and stern with her as if it was day one. Tim was suffering with his feelings. Each day working with Addison his feelings continue to grow stronger for her. But, he knew a relationship with his rookie was highly inappropriate.Right now, Addy was currently hanging out with Detective Armstrong, Nolan, Lucy, and Jackson. They were at a bar together, which Lucy insisted on Addy to come.
"Seriously, what's it like dating a celebrity?" Nolan asks Jackson.
Addy groans as she takes a sip of her drink "Its honestly awesome" he says.
"Well we're all happy for you" Addy says holding her drink up.
Armstrong laughs "liar" he tells her jokingly.
Addy shakes her head "No no, I am just men suck" she groans.
"The single men in LA suck. Every time I go out on a date and they find out that I'm a cop, they just get scared off." Addy says as she recalls her last few dates. Lucy looks over and agrees.
"What about dating a cop?" Jackson suggests. Addy snorts and Lucy starts laughing.
"I was told dating cops was a mistake. What, am I supposed to join a nunnery? Sister Officer Addison Manning" she retorts.
She stands up after her drink is empty. She walks over to the bar. She could see many people gathered by the bar waiting for the bartender to be available.
"Excuse me" she tries to get the attention of the bartender. She sighs when she doesn't hear a response.
A man sitting besides her looks over at her "Pace yourself. It's a marathon, not a sprint." He tells her.
She looks over at the younger man who held a smirk on his face.
"Have you been waiting here long?" She asks him.
"What month is it?" He jokes. Addy giggles "Addison" she says holding out her hand for him to shake.
"Caleb, what brings you here on a Wednesday night?" He asks her.
She turns to look at her co workers who were chatting "Oh I'm just here with some friends from work" she tells him.
He nods his head and glances to their table "Oh, looks like a fun group. What do you do?" He asks.
