** Addison sighed in relief as she felt the sun beginning to rise. Her skin was covered in the oceans salt mist, as she started to paddle towards the shore. A month had went by since Addison joined the LAPD. During that one month it had its ups and downs.
Austin had become more aggressive towards Addison, due to the alcohol increase. Addison had to spend extra time covering up her markings from him so no one could grow suspicious. She had spent every morning so far surfing for a couple hours before sun rise. It was calming especially when she got back to the house Austin was already gone.
She had spent some time getting ready this morning applying more makeup then usual, and her hair in its usual ponytail. Once she had everything she needed she was out the door.
** Much had went on since Addison's shift started. Isabel was convicted with possession of drugs causing Tim to be in disbelief. Addy couldn't help but feel bad that Tim was upset she couldn't imagine how hard it must've been for him.
Tim looked over at her noticing she was quiet. Tim couldn't help but watch as she would rub her arm or slightly wince when she moved a certain way.
"Hey are you okay?" Tim asks he felt slightly worried for his partner. Addy looks over at him with a small smile "Yeah" she starts as she comes up with an excuse "I must've went too hard this morning on the waves" she jokes.
Tim raises an eyebrow impressed that she clearly surfs as a hobby. "You surf?" He asks her although if anyone knew Tim. They knew how much he hated the beach. Tim figured she did some sort of exercise especially since she seemed so in shape.
Addy nodded "Yeah I try to every morning or night. It's fun, if you ever want a lesson let me know" she says with a smile. Tim nods a small smile on his features as they both finally seem to get along.
The laptop screen beeps In front of Addy, as she looks down at the computer. She reads the information as she could feel her heart rate start to increase.
Tim sensed she was nervous about something "What is it?" He asks her "It's an Officer involved shooting. It's Nolan"

Word travelled around fast to the Mid-Wilshire officers. Officer Nolan was currently suspended and being investigated for shooting a suspect and killing him.
Every Officer that has ever interacted with Officer Nolan was being brought into questioning with internal affairs. Tim waited outside for Addy to finish up with questioning. He was instructed to hold onto her belongings until she was finished up with questioning.
