"What do you want in your hair?" Logan asked. He was standing behind Millie, who was sitting on the bathroom counter, brushing her teeth.
"A braid" Millie said
"Ok"
"But 2 braids"
"Alright"
"And French braids"
Logan chuckled. "You got it, princess"
Meanwhile downstairs, Rory, Lorelai, Luke, and April were getting everything ready.
"Where do you want this?" April asked and held up a vase of flowers.
"On the table" Lorelai said.
"Rory, do you know when everyone else is getting here?" Luke asked
"Logan's leaving in a few minutes to pick up Liz and TJ. Jess and Sarah land in a couple of hours, but Jess said not to pick them up. And the grandparents aren't coming over here until later" Rory told him
Logan left to pick up Liz, TJ, and Doula. An hour later everyone was sitting in the living room.
"Ok, ready?" Lorelai asked. She, Tj, Logan, and April were asked sitting with a mini marshmallow on their forehead. The game was whoever gets it in their mouth first with out using their hands wins. Obviously it was Lorelai's idea. It was safe to say that things got a little interesting while they were waiting for Emily, Richard, Jess, and Sarah to show up. "On 3"
"This is ridiculous" Luke rolled his eyes "why do guys go along with her crazy ideas?"
"Hey, you chose me!" Lorelai said
"Ok go!" Liz said
"They look silly" Millie giggled
"Very silly" Luke said.
"I got it!" Logan said excitedly as he stood up, still chewing the marshmallow.
"Should I be proud or ashamed that you just won that game?" Rory said
"Up to you, Ace" Logan said and kissed her chastely
"Eww, don't kiss me with food in your mouth" Rory laughed. She knew the look on his face. He was thinking something dirty and she had no interest in him saying it out loud with her family in the room. "Whatever you're thinking, keep it to yourself"
"I second that" Lorelai said
"That's fine" Logan said. The doorbell rang. "I'll just tell you later" He started to leave the room
"I wanna come!" Millie said and ran to catch up with Logan.
He opened the door to see Jess and Sarah standing there. "Hey, happy thanksgiving. Come on in"
"Happy thanksgiving" Jess said "hi Millie"
Millie knew Jess and Sarah. They'd meet a few times when Rory and Logan happened to go to Stars Hollow at the same time as them. Most recently in August at Lorelai and Luke's engagement party.
"Hi" Millie said
"Your hair looks pretty" Sarah said. "Who did it?"
"Daddy" Millie said
"You braid hair?" Jess asked
"I've got 2 daughters" Logan said. He didn't know how before Millie came along, but when he and Rory found out that Millie was a girl, he decided to learn how to do hair.
"Fair enough" Jess said "so where is everyone?"
"In the living room" Logan said
They walked into the living room and every one stood up to say hi and greet each other.
