Part 20

October 8th 2017- Rory's 33rd birthday

Rory woke up Logan kissing her neck. She slowly turned around to face him.

"Happy birthday, Ace" He said and kissed her

"Thank you"

They heard whispering outside the door.

"Shhh. You're being too loud"

"Can we go in now?"

"I think it's too early"

"It is. Mom's alarm goes off at 6:30 and it's only 6:24. We have to go in before they wake up so let's wait 2 more minutes". They couldn't really tell who was who when they were whispering but they knew that was Amelia.

Rory and Logan smiled at each other.

"What are they doing?" Rory asked quietly

"I think they're trying to surprise you" Logan said

"They're so bad at being quiet" Rory laughed. "But it's so sweet that they're doing...whatever it is that they're doing"

A couple of minutes later Rory and Logan pretended to be asleep when the girls came into the room. Someone set something down on Rory's bedside table and then ask 3 girls climbed into bed with them.

"Mommy, wake up" Abigail said. "It's your birthday"

Rory waited a second before quickly turning around and wrapping her arms around all 3 girls and hugging them tight, getting squeals and giggled from all of them.

"What is this? 'Exclude daddy' time?" Logan joked

"It's not your birthday" Avery said.

Rory laughed and sat up. "Oh, my god. I love you guys so much" she kissed each of the girls on the cheek

"Mama, look what we brought you" Abigail said.

Rory looked over to her bedside table where the girls had put a tray with coffee, orange juice, toast, and scrambled eggs that didn't quite look cooked.

"I know it's not your favorite, but it's the only thing I know how to cook" Amelia said "I also think the eggs might still be a little raw"

"You know what? I think you're right" Rory said "I really appreciate the effort though" she hugged Amelia

"I have an idea" Logan said. "What do you say we go to school a little later today, and we can go out for breakfast"

"Yeah!"

October 16th 2017- Abigail's 6th birthday

Rory and Logan got up and got dressed like always, but that morning, instead of one going to make breakfast and one getting the girls ready, they both went into Abigail's room. Rory sat down on the edge of her bed and gently stroked her cheek with the back of her finger until she opened her eyes. "I'm 6!"

Rory chuckled. "Yes you are" she kissed Abigail's forehead.

"Does that mean I don't have to go to school today?"

"No" Logan chuckled. "But it does mean that after school, you get to pick what we do"

"That's a good deal" Abigail smiled

"Yes, it is" Logan said and kissed her forehead.

The rest of the day was normal until Rory went to pick the kids up from school. She was sitting in the car until she saw Amelia running towards the car. Amelia and Abigail always came out together so she was a little worried. She got out of the car and went to Amelia who grabbed her arm. "Come see!"
