Part 4

"I know why I still feel sick" Rory said

"Why?"

Rory reached into her sweatshirt pocket. She pulled out a positive pregnancy test and gave it to Logan. It had only occurred to Rory a couple of hours before, but she was feeling the same way she felt when she was pregnant with Millie. She had no idea how it happened, but she was pregnant. Ok, she obviously knew how it happened, but she was really surprised because they were really careful. There were careful before Millie, but after Rory got pregnant the first time they became a lot more careful.

Logan looked at the pregnancy test, then at Rory, then back at the test, and back at Rory. He chuckled wryly "are you serious?"

"We're 2 for 2 on surprise pregnancies" Rory said

"I don't understand" Logan said and sat down, across from Rory. It's not that he didn't know how it happened, but he was a little confused about how they could be so careful and still get pregnant...twice. "You have an IUD"

"Yes I do" Rory nodded

"And we use condoms"

"Right again"

They were both quiet for a minute. They'd discussed having more kids a few times, and while this might've been sooner than expected, once they processed it, they were both really happy.

"We're gonna have another baby?" Logan asked

"We're gonna have another baby" she had a few hours to process the news, and she was happy about it, but she couldn't tell how Logan felt, and it was making her a little nervous.

Logan stood up, put his hands on either side of Rory's face, and kissed her deeply. "I love you"

"I love you too" Rory said "I cannot believe this happened again" she said "your parents are gonna be pissed. My grandparents too"

"Screw my parents, they're assholes" Logan said. Rory chuckled softly "and your grandparents will be shocked, but they love you, they love Millie, and they'll love this baby too"

"I can't do it. I can't tell them that I'm pregnant again. You weren't there last time. You didn't see the look on my grandpa's face. The look of 'I'm gonna kill Logan Huntzberger'. He was so upset, and my grandmother just sat there, staring at me. I have no idea what was going through her mind, but I bet she won't be happy to hear that I'm unexpectedly pregnant again"

"Please relax" Logan said. He was worried about having to tell their families too, but they didn't have to tell them yet, and he didn't want her to stress herself out over something that isn't happening yet. "We don't have to tell them yet, and if they are mad, that's not our problem"

"I don't want Millie in the room" Rory said. She knew that there would be some negative reactions to the news and she didn't want Millie witnessing it.

"She won't be"

About a week later Rory had a doctor's appointment where she found out that she was 5 weeks pregnant. It also just happened to be that Lorelai was coming to visit the next weekend weekend, so they would be able to tell her then.

"What time does your mom land?" Logan asked 

"1:30" Rory said "I'm gonna pick her up at the airport and then I'll go straight to get Millie"

"Nana's coming to pick me up?" Millie asked excitedly. Millie and Lorelai had a very close bond, and Millie was always really excited when Lorelai came to visit, which was usually once a month. Rory and Logan also tried to bring Millie to Stars Hollow at least one weekend a month.

"Yeah, she's gonna come with me" Rory said.

"I like when Nana comes"

"I know" Rory smiled and kissed Millie on the top of her head. "Ok, I'm leaving. I will see you later" she kissed Logan quickly
