One night in October found Rory, Logan, and the girls having dinner with the Huntzbergers.
The adults were having drinks in the living room and the kids were playing a video game that Josh had set up in the basement.
"Do the girls still do gymnastics?" Shira asked
"Yes, they do" Logan said. "Amelia is actually planning on going to the Olympics in 2024, so I don't think we'll be done with that anytime soon"
"The Olympics is crazy" Honor said
"Her coach says she can do it" Logan said. "She's training with kids 4 to 6 years older than her..."
"Basically she's crazy" Rory said
Honor laughed. "She's gotta be pretty strong for that, right? I mean she definitely looks strong. That kid is like made out of muscle"
"Oh yeah, she's strong" Logan nodded. "stronger than me"
"How much is that actually saying though?" Honor teased.
"Very funny" Logan rolled his eyes
"Who said I'm joking?"
Rory laughed.
"Hey, you're supposed to be on my side" Logan said
"Is she wrong?" Rory asked. Logan went to the gym most days and Rory knew that.
"No" Honor said
"Yes, and you know it" Logan said
"Ok enough" Mitchum said. "It's like you guys are teenagers"
The rest of dinner went like it usually did. Over the years Logan's relationship with his parents got a lot better, and he found himself having dinner with them at least once a month, whether it was just him or if Rory and the girls went to. The dinners were enjoyable, and there weren't usually fights.

"Lauren, you're up" Taylor said. "Amelia, you're next"
"Did you pick your floor music yet?" Delilah asked. "I can't decide what I want"
Amelia was gonna answer when someone walking into the gym caught her eye.
"Amelia?" Delilah asked as she nudged Amelia's shoulder. "What are you looking at?" She tried to figure out where Amelia was looking. When she finally saw who Amelia was looking at her jaw dropped. "That's Simone Biles. Simone Biles is in our gym"
They watched as the Olympic gold medalist walked into the office.
"Amelia" Taylor said, snapping Amelia back to reality. "It's your turn"
"Why is Simone Biles here?" Amelia asked
"Focus please" Taylor said. He knew why she was there, but he wasn't supposed to say anything. "Grips. Chalk. Bars. Let's go"
After Amelia did her turn, her team had a water break
"I can't believe that Simone Biles is at our gym" Lauren said
"It's crazy" Delilah said
"She's coming over here!" Lauren said excitedly "Look gymnasticsy"
"What does that mean?" Amelia asked
"I don't know. Just...be normal"
"This is your elite team?" Simone asked as she walked over to them with the owner of the gym, Darcy.
"Yes" Darcy said. "This is Lauren, Delilah, and Amelia" she gestured to each of them. "Girls, say hi"
"Hi" they all said shyly
