September 2017-
"Alright, if your last name is Huntzberger, you have 10 minutes to finish getting ready" Logan said. "Otherwise you're gonna be late for your first day of school"
"Does that include mom?" Amelia asked. She'd decided when she was around 7 that she wanted to be called Amelia. The only people who she still let call her Millie were her sisters. That's right, sisters. In April of 2014, Logan and Rory had another baby girl. Avery Lorelai Huntzberger. That time it was planned. "Her name isn't Huntzberger because you're not married"
Rory and Logan still hadn't gotten married. They just weren't in any rush. They still referred to each other as their fiancé, and Rory still wore the engagement ring. They were engaged. It might've been a very long engagement (6 years by this point), but they did intend to eventually get married. Amelia however was convinced that it was never gonna happen. She didn't care that they weren't married but she thought it was a little funny that they'd been engaged for so long.
"Mom doesn't drive you to school, so it doesn't matter" Rory said "and we will getting married"
"I'll believe it when I see it" Amelia said
Rory looked around and only saw 2 little girls "Where's Abigail?" She asked
"She's getting her shoes" Avery said
"Ok. I'm leaving" Rory said. "I'll see you later"
"Bye Ace" Logan put his hand on Rory's waist
"Don't kiss" Amelia said. Rory and Logan smiled at each other. "Don't kiss"
Logan put his hand over Amelia's eyes and kissed Rory quickly.
"You guys are gross" Amelia cringed
"You love us" Rory said. "And I love you" She kissed both Amelia and Avery on the top of the head. "Have a good first day. I'll pick you up later". She found Abigail on her way out of the house and said goodbye to her, before heading to work.
Logan got all 3 girls in the car and drove them to school, starting with Amelia and Abigail who were both in elementary school. Amelia was starting 5th grade and Abigail was starting kindergarten. Next he drove to where Avery was starting preschool. The same preschool that both Amelia and Abigail went to.
"Hey, I think this the right room" Logan said
"No!" Avery wrapped her arms around his neck.
"You're gonna have so much fun, I promise"
"I wanna stay with you"
"I know but I have to go to work" Logan said as he put Avery down. "Mommy's gonna be here really soon to pick you up"
"Promise?"
"Promise"

"What are you doing?" Melissa asked
"Editing" Rory said, without looking up from her computer. She'd been made the featured editor for the San Francisco chronicle about a year after Abigail was born.
"That's not what I meant" Melissa said. "You're worrying"
"Avery started preschool" Rory told her
"That's why you're worried?" Melissa asked.
"And they bumped Amelia up to 5th grade" Rory said. Age wise Amelia should've been starting 4th grade, but the school said that she tested a year ahead, so they wanted to put her in 5th grade.
"She'll do great" Melissa said. "She's a social butterfly if I've ever seen one, and she's super smart. Not to mention drop dead gorgeous. All your girls are"
