Project

Me and zach were finishing our projects. We were adding the final touches but I could see zach was struggling.
Kaylee: you want to take a break?
Zach: No I'm fine. Let's just finish it
Kaylee: zach
Zach: it's fine
I was writing my last leaf when zach started to get frustrated.
Zach: fuck sake
Kaylee: what's up?
Zach: I can't get this to stick. It keeps falling off. It's really pissing me off
I helped him stick it on.
Zach: thank you
Kaylee: it's okay
I handed him the leaf and our hands touched. He looked at me and kissed me. He pulled away and I smiled.
Dad: Zach your mom's here
Zach: I've got to go. You ready for the presentation tomorrow?
Kaylee: y-yeah
Zach: I'll see you tomorrow
Kaylee: bye
I was watching a film when my phone started ringing.
Tessa FaceTime
Kaylee: hey
Tessa: hey girl how you doing?
Kaylee: I'm good. In a little pain but it's all good.
Tessa: girl i got some tea for you
Kaylee: spill
Tessa: Bradley and Jess are together. Josh likes Hannah and Zach has the fattest crush on you.
Kaylee: I know. What about you?
Tessa: me and wait did you just say I know. You can't just skip over that. Tell your bestie more
Kaylee: okay well we kinda kissed
Tessa: shut up. No freaking way. That's amazing. Go bestie
Kaylee: it's nothing. Anyways you were saying you and Harry.
Tessa: yeah well wait. I never said it was Harry
Kaylee: got ya. I see things. Ive seen it since the first day. You both been giving heart eyes to each other for ages

Kaylee: tomorrow. I'm only in until lunch anyways
Tessa: yayyyyyy
Dad: Kaylee! dinner
Kaylee: hey I got to go. I'll see you tomorrow
Tessa: don't be late
Kaylee: me late never
Dad: Kaylee come on
Kaylee: jheeze i gotta go
End call
I went downstairs and dad made mac n cheese with garlic bread. Me, dad and Hailey sat at the table. He gave me my meds too.
Kaylee: why do I have to?
Dad: it's just until the next appointment
Kaylee: okay
I took them and started eating.
Hailey: back to school tomorrow
Kaylee: yep
Jay: after you can either go to the firehouse or come to the district
Kaylee: firehouse. I haven't seen Kelly and Matt in a while
Jay: that's cool. Just make sure to keep either of us updated okay
Kaylee: mhm
I finished my dinner and had a shower then went to bed.

The next day
Dad: Kaylee come on. Hailey made breakfast
I got out of bed and got ready before going downstairs. I went and had my breakfast and took my meds
Dad: you want me to take you?
Kaylee: I want to walk today
Dad: okay. No getting distracted or taking any detours. Straight to school okay
Kaylee: mhm
I brushed my teeth and put my trainers on.
Kaylee: bye
Hailey: bye kiddo
Dad: bye peach

I was on my way to school. The way I go was past the firehouse. I was walking past when I saw Capp.
Capp: hey it's trouble
I walked inside and sat at the squad table
Kaylee: hi. Where's kelly?
Capp: probably talking to Casey
I walked into the firehouse and went to Matt's office

Kelly pov
I saw Kaylee outside of the door. Normally she'll barge in and jump on the bunk but she was just staring and playing with the hem of her jumper
Kelly: shit
Matt: what?
Kelly: Kaylees having a seizure
I went and opened the door and guided her into Matt's office. I sat her down on the bunk and just waited. She came around but shortly went into another one. This happened about 7 times in 5 minutes
Kelly: you okay?
Kaylee: yeah.
Kelly: have you had any seizures this morning?
Kaylee: No
Kelly: okay
Matt: shouldn't you be at school?
Kaylee: what's the time?
Matt: 8:55
Kaylee: oh shit
Kelly: I'll drive you. Come on
We got in the car and drove to school
Kelly: you had the surgery yet?
Kaylee: yeah a few days ago
Kelly: really
Kaylee: yep
Kelly: I'm proud of you kiddo
Kaylee: thank you
Kelly: what time do you finish?
Kaylee: 12:30
Kelly: I'll pick you up
Kaylee: you don't have to
Kelly: it's fine. What are brothers for?
Kaylee: it's not like you're giving me an option anyways
Kelly: I'll message when I'm outside. Be good. No trouble
Kaylee: no promises
Kelly: any problems ring me and I'll come get you
Kaylee: okay thanks dumbass
Kelly: go on or you'll be more late
Kaylee: I'm going jeez

Kaylee pov
I went to the principals office and took my report and went to homeroom
Miss Walker: nice of you to grace us with your presence
Kaylee: I had to walk
Miss Walker: you don't live that far
Kaylee: I got distracted and ended up at firehouse 51
Miss Walker: okay. You got your report?
Kaylee: yeah
I got up and put it on her desk. I sat back down.
Miss Walker: we're gonna be doing some independent work. Either read a book or get on with some work
Zach: I hate silent work
Kaylee: same
I got up and got a book. I started reading it but grew bored really quickly. I got up and stood at the window watching all the cars drive past.
Miss Walker: Kaylee sit back down please
Kaylee: sorry
I sat down and shortly got back up and started walking around.
Miss Walker: Kaylee stay in your seat
Kaylee: I'm bored
Miss Walker: do some drawing or something
I was tapping my pen against the table and Zach joined in
Miss Walker: Really you two. Everyone else is tryna work and your distracting them.
Me and zach then started talking.
Miss Walker: right you've had enough warning. You two outside now
We got up laughing and went outside. After a few minutes miss walker came out with our reports
Miss Walker: really disappointed in you both
She went back in and we looked at our reports
1) Don't be late ❌
2) follow all instructions ❌
3) don't talk out of turn ❌
4) don't get distracted ❌
Comments: found it difficult to stay seated today. Very fidgety and unfocused. Quite disruptive. Sent outside. Not a good lesson today

Zach: we got the same
Kaylee: twins
Zach: you ready for our presentation?
Kaylee: nope but have to do it anyways
We were walking around when the bell went. We went to Mr Browns lesson and put our reports on the desk. I saw our tree stuck to the wall
Kaylee: I guess we're going first
Zach: maybe
We sat down and everyone else started coming in
Mr Brown: so today we're gonna present our family projects. First is Zach and Kaylee
We stood up and went to the front
Zach: as you can see we made a family tree.
Kaylee: one side is mine and the other is Zachs
Zach went through his family. It was now my turn.
