Adam: Tessa my name is Officer Ruzek but you can call me Adam.
Tessa: I thought I already gave my statement?
Adam: well because charges are being pressed we need a more formal statement. Mr Gomez I appreciate you coming down here
Mr Gomez: please Hector is fine
Adam: you ready to get started Tessa?
Tessa: yeah
Adam: okay so we've heard that Kaylee was being bullied
Tessa: yeah for I'd say the past month
Adam: what was happening?
Tessa: they'd call her names, throw things at her and post things on social media about her
Adam: who's they?
Tessa: Meghan, Taylor, Lillie and Daisy
As we went through what happened she was saying the same as Zach
Adam: Tessa you're free to go. Thank you for everything you have given us
Tessa: is she gonna be alright?
Adam: she's in the best possible place and the doctors are working tirelessly to help her. She'll make it through. If you need anything you know where we are okay?
Tessa: thank you
They left and I went back into the bullpen.
Hailey: they've been taken to Cook County Juvenile Detention Center. They've been interrogated and are being held before they can be seen. Lillie may be released on bail, possibly Daisy too but Taylor and Meghan no chance.
Adam: heard anything from Jay?
Hailey: she's still the same. She's making progress but not enough for them to lighten her sedation
Adam: well I'm gonna update Hank
Hailey: okay imma head home before heading to the hospital

Hank pov
Hank: they've been taken to juvie
Jay: where they'll probably get away with just a slap on the wrist
Hank: Jay they won't be let off with just nothing
Jay: I know
I just sat looking at Kaylee
Jay: this is all my fault. I should've known something was going on at school. I'm her dad I couldn't save her like I couldn't save Brandon.
Hank: Jay you can't say things like that
Jay: but it's true. I don't deserve to be her dad. I don't deserve to be anything. People better than me die and I'm still living. How is that fair?
Hank: kiddo please
Jay walked out the room. I tried to go after him but he just left. I went over to Maggie
Hank: Maggie is will still working?
Maggie: he should be finishing up soon
Hank: can you page him?
Maggie: is everything okay?
Hank: it's about Jay
Maggie: he should be down any minute
I sat back in Kaylees room and Will walked in
Will: where's Jay?
Hank: he's blaming himself. He's in a bad way. Will I think he's suicidal
Will: shit can you get someone at the district to track his phone? Imma drive around looking for him

Will pov
I got in my car and was looking around for Jay. I went to his house and Hailey was in the kitchen
Hailey: hey will
Will: is Jay here?
A message came through my phone
Jays at the Alibi
I ran out the door and drove to the alibi. I walked in
Will: V have you seen Jay?
V: he's with Kev. Listen Will Jay really scared us tonight. He was sat here with his gun to his head. Kev rushed him before he had a chance to pull the trigger and fought the gun off him. Kev calmed him down and they were talking
I went up and Jay wasn't here. I went back down and Jay was sat at the bar.
Will: Jay
Jay: fuck off Will
Will: Jay come on let's get you home
Kev came over
Kev: you need any help
Will: no it's fine I've got it
Jay: oh big old will to the rescue huh
Will: Come on Jay
I put my hand on his shoulder and he turned around and swung for me. He was so drunk he just fell over. I went to help him up and he pushed me off.
Will: Jay just let me get you home and I'll leave you alone.
He stood up and sat back at the bar
Jay: I couldn't save her like I couldn't save Brandon. It's all my fault. I'm a terrible dad. I don't deserve to be here. V get me another drink
I shook my head at V so Jay reached over and grabbed a bottle of whiskey and just started pouring
Will: Jay I think you've had enough
Jay: Will fuck off
Kev: Jay I think you should go home. You need to be fit and well for Kaylee
Jay: She doesn't need me anymore. She deserves a better dad than me. You all deserve better than me. All I do is let people down. Look what i did to B
Will: Come on Jay. You do everything you can for that girl. She's lucky to have a dad like you. You're her favourite person in the world. We're lucky to have you
Jay: shut up
Will: and you're such a good dad. Why can't you see what we all can see
Jay: I said shut up
He was getting really wound up
Will: Jay just calm down
He got up and dashed his glass at the wall. He started throwing chairs around and flipping tables.
He was about to throw a chair at me until he just froze. I went over to him and took the chair putting it back on the floor. I went back to Jay and he was just stood still staring into space
Will: Jay buddy
No answer
Will: Jay you okay?
He was fiddling with his fingers.
V: he okay?
Will: he's having an absence
Kev: does he need an ambulance?
Will: No he'll be fine. I'm just gonna take him home
V: has his seizures come back?
Will: I'm hoping it's just a one off from a lack of sleep and stress but it's looking like they are coming back because he had one a few weeks ago
Jay: w-will?
Will: let's go home
Jay: head feels weird
Will: you need sleep and food Jay
Jay: mhm
Will: let's go. Bye guys
Both: see ya
We walked to the car and I took Jay home.

He sat on the couch while I made him some food.
Will: Jay you want food or smoothie?
Jay: smoothie I'm not that hungry
I made him a smoothie adding fruits, some coconut water and protein powder. I passed it and he drank it
Will: does your head still feel weird?
Jay: a little but it's okay
Will: how about you go up to bed?
Jay: I can't sleep
Will: go sit on the couch I'm gonna grab you a pillow and blanket
I went up and grabbed his pillow and a blanket from the cupboard. I went back down and sat on the couch with the pillow on my lap. Jay then laid with his head on the pillow and I passed him the blanket.
Will: Jay we need to talk about something
Jay: what?
Will: what happened before I turned up at the alibi
Jay: I wasn't thinking
Will: you had V and Kev really worried about you
Jay: I'm sorry
Will: Jay are you suicidal?
Jay: No it was just a moment of madness I guess. I was just feeling low
Will: I need you to talk to someone when you feel like this
Jay: Can we watch Fast and Furious?
Will: which one?
Jay: how is that a question? 2 fast 2 furious
I put it on and we were just watching it. I was running my fingers through his hair as this is the quickest way to get him to sleep. Mom used to do this all the time when he couldn't sleep and it worked most of the time and surprisingly it still works. After about half an hour I felt his breathing even out. I ended up falling asleep too
