New Semester New start

School was back after the Christmas break and I was dreading it.
Hailey: Kaylee come on we got to go
Kaylee: I'll be down in a minute
I grabbed my AirPods and phone and ran downstairs
Hailey: bag?
Kaylee: i don't need it
Hailey: I don't want you getting into trouble
Kaylee: I won't Miss Walker keeps everything I need at school and gives it to me during homeroom
Hailey: okay. Get in the car then
Kaylee: do I have to go in?
Hailey: yeah honey you do
I got in the car and hailey drove me to school
Hailey: have a good day today okay? Call me if you need anything
Kaylee: thank you
I got out the car and went to homeroom. Zach was outside and Miss Walker was talking to him.
Miss Walker: morning Kaylee. You're not on report anymore but we won't hesitate to place you back on it if your behaviour declines
Kaylee: okay
We walked in and at the back with Tessa, Harry and Josh.
Miss Walker: right so I want you to work in groups of 4. In your groups you will write what you want to achieve this semester and how you will achieve this.
We were talking when Miss Jackson walked in
Miss Jackson: sorry to interrupt but can I borrow Kaylee?
Kaylee: do I need my stuff?
Miss Jackson: yeah
We went to her classroom and there were a few other kids in there.
Kaylee: what is this for?
Miss Jackson: you all haven't made a start on your sport coursework so we're going to start it together. I've printed out a booklet that will help you complete the assignment.
She gave me a massive booklet on blue paper.
Kaylee: I can't do all of this
Miss Jackson: that's why I've separated it into sections. I've gone through the assignment brief and put it into sections. Just complete it task by task. We'll complete the first task together.
I opened the first page
Kaylee: I don't know any of this
Miss Jackson: that's why we're gonna go through it together. Whilst we're going through I want you to write down what we talk about. So first task components of physical fitness. So can anyone tell me what aerobic endurance is
No one put there hand up
Miss Jackson: Carl?
Carl: i have no idea
Miss Jackson: take a guess
Carl: how long you can do something for?
Miss Jackson: not quite but remember that answer cause that's something else. Aerobic endurance is the ability of the cardio respiratory system to deliver oxygen and nutrients to working muscles. Who knows what the cardio respiratory system is and what it's made up of
Teddy: cardiovascular and respiratory system. It allows us to breathe in oxygen and breathe out Carbon dioxide
Miss Jackson: good okay what about muscular endurance? Carl you said this one
Carl: how long you can do something for
Miss Jackson: that's correct. In sporting terms it's the capability of muscles to undergo a number of contractions over a long period of time against a resistance. Have we gotten this all down?
Kaylee: can we go a bit slower?
Carl: just keep up
Kaylee: shut up
The bell rang and I went to science. I sat beside Tessa and Zach.
Zach: where did you go?
Kaylee: had to do coursework with Miss Jackson
Mr Mead: can we stop the talking?
Right so today we're gonna be doing a mock exam. As soon as you get your paper you can start. Exam conditions
He passed them round and mine was on normal paper
Kaylee: sir I need mine on blue paper
Mr Mead: well you're gonna have to deal with what you've got
Kaylee: have you got an overlay?
Mr Mead: no
Kaylee: Can I go get one from Miss Jackson?
Mr Mead: no now stop disrupting the class. People are trying to concentrate
Kaylee: I can't do it on white paper
Mr Mead: stop attention seeking. Either get on with the test or leave the classroom
I got my stuff and walked towards the door
Kaylee: go fuck yourself you fucking prick
Mr Mead: Principals office now!
Kaylee: fuck off
I walked out and walked around the school. I called dad

Kaylee: dad?
Dad: you okay?
Kaylee: can you come and get me?
Dad: I have a meeting in 10 minutes. Can you wait till lunch?
Kaylee: dad
Dad: did something happen?
Kaylee: Mr Mead is a prick
Dad: what happened?
Kaylee: he gave us a mock test and mine was on white paper. I asked to get an overlay and he said I was attention seeking. He said to either do the test or leave
Dad: what did you say? What did you call him?
Kaylee: how do you know I called him something?
Dad: you're my kid. I know you said something
Kaylee: I told him to go fuck himself and called him a fucking prick
Dad: Jesus Kaylee
Kaylee: I know
Dad: go to Miss Jackson and talk to her. I'll be there as soon as I can okay
Kaylee: okay

The call ended and I went to Miss Jackson
Miss Jackson: what's up Kaylee?
Kaylee: Mr Mead. I hate him. He said I was attention seeking cause I asked for an overlay
Miss Jackson: that's not right
Kaylee: he's a fucking prick. I don't want to be in his lessons anymore
Miss Jackson: what if I had a word with him. Explain to him why you need extra support.
Kaylee: that's not going to work
Miss Jackson: he's old school. He doesn't understand. Just let me speak to him and if he carries on then we'll move you
Kaylee: okay
Miss Jackson: im gonna grab your test and we'll do it here
Kaylee: do I have to?
Miss Jackson: yep
She left then came back and gave me the test. She got the overlay from her desk and gave it to me. I opened the test and I couldn't do it. I closed it and went and stood by the window
Miss Jackson: come on Kaylee. Let's get this test over and done with
Kaylee: no thanks
Miss Jackson: I wasn't asking
Kaylee: I can't do it
Miss Jackson: yes you can. I know you know the answers.
Kaylee: no I don't
Miss Jackson: name one thing a plant cell has that an animal cell doesn't
Kaylee: chloroplast
Miss Jackson: see you do know it
Kaylee: I guess
I looked through the test
Miss Jackson: you think you can do it?
Kaylee: it's easy. I know most of the answers but when I go to write it down I forget
Miss Jackson: how about you tell me the answers and I'll write it down?
Kaylee: but is that not cheating?
Miss Jackson: no because I'm not giving you the answers I'm just simply writing down what you say. We'll have a meeting with your dad to discuss things we can put in place to support you
We got through the test and it was good. I finally think I done well on a test.
Miss Jackson: how was it?
Kaylee: I actually think I did well
Miss Jackson: you ready to go back?
Kaylee: can I just stay with you?
I have one more lesson before dad picks me up and it's with Mr mead again
Miss Jackson: only if you go and get your work from him. Tell him I'll speak to him later
Kaylee: you're the best
I jumped up and ran to his class. I knocked on the door and he came outside
Kaylee: sir miss Jackson asked if you had any work for me to do?
Mr Mead: You should be in this lesson why you with miss Jackson?
Kaylee: she said she'd talk to you about it later
Mr Mead: if I find out you're lying you're in detention for a week
He grabbed me a booklet to complete. It was actually on blue paper
Kaylee: oh yeah here's my test
I gave it to him. I went back to Miss Jackson's office. I did the work and it was now time for lunch
Miss Jackson: tell your dad that we'll be having a meeting when he's free
Kaylee: okay
I went out and dad was waiting
