Fight

I was walking to a table in the canteen with Zach and Tessa when a girl from my class came up and smacked my lunch out my hand. I looked around and people were recording
Tessa: hey what the fuck did you do that for?
Meghan: that bitch be faking
She the pushed Tessa who pushed her back and they just started fighting Zach pulled Tessa back. Meghan then started pushing me and I ignored her. She then started punching so I started getting some hits in.

Zach pov
Kaylee and Meghan had started fighting. A couple of Meghan's friends were getting involved so I pulled Kaylee away. Everything died down until Meghan pushed Kaylee and her friend stuck her foot out and Kaylee hit her head off the table before falling to the ground seizing.
Zach: You stupid bitch look at what you've done
People started crowding around
Zach: everyone move the fuck away
??: why is she shaking like that?
Zach: she is having a seizure. Does this look fake to you? Just cause you all wanna act like a bunch of assholes. Meghan I hope your happy
Meghan: what a retard
I squared up to her and Tessa pulled me away
Tessa: I'll go and get coach
Tessa left and Kaylee was still seizing. After a few minutes it began to slow down. It stopped completely and coach ran in.
Coach: what happened?
Before I could answer she started seizing again
Zach: coach you need to call an ambulance she didn't come around from the last one
Coach called an ambulance and they were on their way

Jay pov
Hank had us doing paperwork
Hank: Jay can I borrow you for a second?
I walked into his office and sat down.
Hank: was Kaylee okay going to school?
Jay: yeah. Her and kelly made a deal. If she attends every day for the next month then Kelly's gonna take her on a spending spree
Hank: where we at on the paperwork?
Jay: still got a bit to do but it'll get done
Hank: that's what I like to hear
Adam ran into the office.
Adam: guys you're gonna wanna see this
We went out to the bullpen and there was a video playing on the computer. There was a fight between two girls a boy then pulled one girl off
Jay: wait that's Zach
The girl then started pushing another girl who didn't respond. This then escalated into punching
Hailey ran in
Adam: wait isn't that Kaylee?
Jay: shit
The fight had now escalated again to a 4 vs 1. Zach pulled Kaylee away. The fight died down until a girl pushed Kaylee and another girl stuck her foot out and Kaylee hit her head off the table before falling to the ground seizing.
Hailey: I've had Kaylee's coach on the phone. She's being taken to med. She had 2 back to back seizures and the EMTs haven't been able to stabilise her
I looked at Hank
Hank: go. I'll be down after shift
I looked at hailey
Hailey: I'll drive
We ran out of the district and got in the car. We got to med and ran up to the ED
Jay: Maggie
Maggie: treatment 3 with Noah and Monique.
We ran into the room and Kaylee was seizing
Jay: what the hell is going on?
Noah: we're struggling to get her seizures under control. Monique push another dose of diazepam.
After the seizure began to slow before completely stopping.
Noah: I wanna get a CT done just cause she hit her head. Hopefully it's only a minor concussion
Jay: do whatever you need to
Noah: Monique take her up to CT
An hour later she was brought back down.
Noah: CT is clear
Jay: so she's okay
Noah: she's fine
Jay: but her seizures she hasn't had one all day and she hits her head and has multiple
Noah: scans are clear, pupils are reactive she's fine. You can take her home when she wakes up
Jay: are you sure?
Noah: yeah she's fine

After a few hours I heard groaning
Kaylee: d-dad
Jay: hey peach how you feeling?
Kaylee: my head hurts
Jay: do you remember what happened?
Kaylee: erm no
Jay: that's okay
Kaylee: go home
Noah walked in
Noah: how you feeling?
Kaylee: go home
He gave me discharge papers and I signed them
Jay: you ready to go?
Kaylee: carry me
Jay: piggyback
She jumped on my back and we went to the car. Hailey drove and I sat in the back with Kaylee. She had her head rested on my lap and laid curled up on the seat. She ended up falling asleep. We arrived home and I carried Kaylee in and set her on the couch. I made a start on dinner. Chicken curry with pilau rice and naan bread. Hailey came in and started helping.
Hailey: she's gonna be okay
Jay: I know it's just she doesn't deserve any of this.

Hank pov
Me, Adam and Al went to Kaylees school.
Hank: we're gonna teach them a lesson
We went to the principals office
Hank: I need you to identify the students in this video
I played the video and she looked disgusted
Principal Monroe: Tessa Gomez, Meghan Fletcher, Kaylee Halstead. Zach Doherty, Taylor Lawson, Lillie Bell and Daisy Cohen
Hank: where are they now?
Principal Monroe: they should all be in the sports hall. I'll take you there.
Hank: can we also get parents to come in as well as we will need statements from the students but can only do it with a parent present?
We walked over to the sports hall and Zach ran over
Zach: Sargent voight how is Kaylee?
Hank: there's no updates
Zach: I hope she's okay. You want me to bring coach Evans over?
Hank: no its okay
Zach went to join back in
Principal Monroe: sorry to interrupt coach Evans but Zach, Tessa, Meghan, Taylor, Lillie and Daisy come with me
They all walked over and followed us to outside the principals office. The parents were also sat waiting
??: Mom?
Mom 1: what the hell have you done Meghan?
Meghan: I haven't done anything
Dad 1: Can you tell me what's so important that I got called away from work for?
Meghan: Dad
I rolled my eyes. No wonder this kid acts like an entitled spoilt brat.
Hank: there was an incident that happened at lunch that has ended with a student being rushed to hospital
I looked at Meghan and she just looked at me with a smirk on her face
Hank: I want you all to watch this video
Adam turned on the clip and left it to play on the laptop. All the parents looked disgusted.
Dad 1: how could you do that to her?
Hank: I need statements from all the kids which is why you parents are here
Mom 2: are they being arrested?
Hank: not at this moment in time. I'm just here solely to collect statements from those involved. Tessa Gomez and Zach Doherty you're with Officer Ruzek, Meghan Fletcher and Lillie Bell you're with me and Taylor Lawson and Daisy Cohen you're with detective Olinsky
Everyone left and I was left with Meghan, Lillie and their parents
Hank: right Lillie and parents wait outside please
They left and it was time to get started
Hank: so what happened today? And before you begin it is a felony to lie in your statement
Hank: how do you know Kaylee halstead?
Meghan: she is some weird kid in my classes
Hank: you ever been mean to her?
Meghan: no we just joke around
Hank: okay so what happened today?
Meghan: She started the fight and then she tripped and hit her head. She just started shaking on the floor
Hank: anything else you wanna add?
Meghan: nope can I go now?
Hank: I'll be in touch
They left and Lillie and her parents walked in
Hank: so Lillie are you friends with Kaylee halstead?
Lillie: no we have completely different friends groups
Hank: so what happened today?
Lillie: her and Meghan were fighting and I jumped in
Hank: why did you jump in?
Lillie: Meghan says that if we don't stick up for her in these situations then she'll talk shit and spread rumours about us
Hank: so Meghan is the leader in all this?
Lillie: yeah
Hank: why is Kaylee the target?
Lillie: Meghan's jealous of her. She's recognised by the seniors and Zach likes her. Meghan has been trying to get Zacks attention since middle school
Hank: why don't you stand up for yourself and find better friends?
Lillie: Meghan's been my best friend since pre school. Her parents took me in when things weren't good at home so I always felt like I owed her
Hank: thank you I'll be in touch
Everyone walked into the office.
Hank: I'm gonna look through the statements and I'll be in contact
