I am in the kitchen when I hear some little steps running outside the room and then the doors open and the little girl enters running while the doctor was shouting from behind her "Darla baby stop!" I pick her up immediately because kitchen isn't a good place for a baby and I walk out of it smiling.

The doctor almost knocked us over but he only touched my shoulder gently "Oops." I smile softly and look at the girl in my arms who surprisingly found my chest tattoo really interesting. "We have a little runner, don't we?"

She looks up at me giggling and points to my chest saying "tattoo" my smile grows bigger and I giggle "a tattoo yes." I say with a voice I didn't know I had in me, such a playful and gentle voice.

She tilts her head frowning adorably "What say?" I clear my throat and say with the same voice I used earlier "It says "It is what it is" little girl." She frowns and I understand she doesn't get it so I look at the doctor leaning her towards him. "C'mon baby go to your dad." Now the doctor laughs and she gives me a more confused look. "Uncle Haz no dada!" And I immediately feel embarrassed. But the doctor takes her in his arms, kissing her cheek and smiling widely and beautifully.

He looks at me and I can feel my cheeks burning from embarrassment "Sorry, I assumed-"

"Don't worry. Everyone assumes. She's my little niece, my friend's daughter, that's all."

"Oh good." I say and I immediately hated the fact that I felt relieved. And I immediately regretted that reply because he bit his lips, smirking and blushing.

He knows. For sure he knows.

"I…" pause. "I mean it's good that you consider her your niece. You don't see this kind of close relationship between friends anymore"

He nods softly "That's true… I guess I can consider myself lucky."

I nod and say "very". That's all I say because I've never been this lucky and it hurts now for some reason. I sigh looking towards their table. "Do you need anything more?" I ask and he shakes his head gently.

"No, this little angel just decided to go for a run. I'm sorry."

"Don't worry. She's a sweetheart." I say smiling at her and she smiles too. "Me Darla, you?" I smile even wider because I have a soft spot for kids, they are just so cute and say "I'm Louis"

"Well I finally find out your name then" the doctor jokes and I laugh nodding. "What's yours?" I ask and he smiles. "I'm Harry."

"Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too."

I take a step back and point behind me. "I'll go now. Enjoy your ice cream." I give them one last smile and head to the kitchen.

That was the end of our conversation because Harry paid for their order and just left. I can not stop myself from watching them leaving the café. The way Harry is smiling at her and her happy smile. They are cute together. So cute.

The next day my first employee started so I'm around the cafe just to make sure he's handling it well. I'm now outside the cafe smoking a cigarette on a random bench when I see someone sitting next to me in the corner of my eye. I turn my head and it's Harry. Blue suit today. Beautiful colour on him.

Is there a colour he doesn't look good in?

"Hi." I say and keep the cigarette away from him being careful that the smoke doesn't bother him.

"Smoking is bad, you know?" He says and I giggle. He just skipped the whole greeting part to scold me about smoking. Adorable.

"Well. It makes me feel alive."

"It's actually killing you." He says again and I sigh looking at him.

"It doesn't matter. It makes me feel good now." I say filling my mouth with that nasty smoke and he turns to me completely. "You know what makes you feel good in cigarettes?"

I let the smoke out and shake my head. "No, I actually I don't" I look at him and he looks at me. Again his eyes. Again this breathtaking eye contact. It'll kill me one day.

"By smoking you actually do a breathing exercise. You take deep breaths and exhale. This is why you feel relaxed. You can do that without damaging your lungs."

I shake my head and smoke from the cigarette again. He leans forward making me look at him and rests his chin in his hand. I smile. "Don't worry. I'm not breathing the smoke in my lungs. I keep it in my mouth."

He smiles, shaking his head, "still bad for your health." I laugh this time and turn to him, finishing the cigarette. "A lot of things are bad for our health. Some of them are worse than cigarettes"

He leans towards me and asks "As?"

You.

I shrug and my lips form a pout. "I don't know. Depends on the person I guess." I get up and smile. "I'm happy to see you finally rested."

He giggles and gets up as well. "That tea really helped. What was it made with?"

Love.

"Yerba mate." I say shortly and he hums I'm glad it helped. "Considering how much coffee you drink in a day would've made a hole in my bank account."

He laughs this time and punches my arm. "Mean." He says between his laughs and I laugh with him and say. "I'm joking."

He stops and looks at me amused. "You're still mean."

I shrug "It is what it is." and enter the cafe and he walks towards the hospital. Now this is a beautiful start to the day. He reminds me of the sun.

Warming my heart up.
